Night of the Comet

Like every morning I woke up to my alarm and got up and dressed. Tyler took me to school and I went to my classes. It came to History where I hardly paid attention, but I rocked tests and assignments. I doodled in my notebook as Tanner went around the room lecturing.

"Originally discovered nearly 5 centuries ago, it hasn't been over Mystic Falls in over 145 years. Now, the comet will be its brightest right after dusk during tomorrow's celebration. Are we bothering you, Mr. Salvatore? Ms. Gilbert? How about you Ms. Lockwood?" Tanner called out and I looked up, as I was about to say something when the bell rang.

After school Tyler had football so I walked home. Entering the Lockwood estate my mother stood there with her arm folded. "What?" I groaned kicking my shoes off. "Don't you what me. I know you snuck out last night Aaliyah Janelle" I sighed. "So what?" I asked as I swung my bag on my back, and walked past her up the stairs.

Later that night when it started to get dark I left the house going down town. Matt handed me a candle, "Thank you" I said He helped me light it and Elena Caroline and Bonnie came over. Stefan came over and I lit his and Him and Elena watched the comet while i stayed with Matt and Caroline. After the Comet passed Caroline left to go somewhere while me and Matt went to the grill.

Tyler, Elena, Matt, and I all sat at a table when Jeremy came up to us "Has anyone seen Vickie?" Tyler just smirked and said "Your her stalker why don't you tell us?" I groaned and rolled my eyes More fighting. I zoned out until i herd "Why don't you both shut up and help me find my sister" I went with Tyler as we searched for Vicky. We couldn't find her so we just gave up.

"What do you see in her Ty? Is it because Mom doesn't approve" I asked sarcastically, but Tyler scoffed. "Just leave it Ali, Okay?" I nodded. "Alright" I said and he sighed. "Come on lets get back" He said and lifted me up. I giggled and he gave me a piggy back ride back to the others. Matt was putting a bandage on Vicky's neck, and Tyler let me down on my feet.

"I'm uh.. I gotta get home" I said and Tyler turned to me as I backed up. I turned on my feet and went to walk away. I left the building and went back home.
