Being stuck on bed rest has its pros and cons. Mostly pros, but I won't tell anyone about that part. I'm stuck in my bed for another couple days, before I can go back to school.
I had a grimorie out in front of me as I flipped through the pages studying the spells, before I write the ones I know in my own.A knock came at my door and I put my pillow over it, "Come in!" I called out and Stefan popped in making me sigh. "Your uh.. your mom let me in." He said closing the door behind him. "Oh thank god." I said lifting the pillow revealing the Grimoires.
"What's going on Stefan? I'm getting these weird dreams about a tombs and vampires." I said whispering the last part. "A vampire named Anna kidnapped Elena and Bonnie. I need your help to find them." He told me and I nodded. "Luckily I've been practicing." I said rubbing my hands together.
I turned and opened my side table grabbing my map of Mystic Falls out.
Stefan handed me Elena's shirt and I closed my eyes focusing. "Phasmatos Tribum, Nas Ex Veras, Sequitas Sanguinem." I gasped as I opened my eyes.
I quickly turned and wrote down an address. "They're here." I said and handed it to Stefan who smiled. "Thank you Ali." He told me and I nodded smiling as he left.
——It's the Mystic Falls annual bachelor auction, and coincidentally my first day off of bed rest. Course it doesn't stop my mom from going psycho, so I have to go and sit in the grill so she can keep an eye on me.
——
After all the tickets were sold, Caroline came over to me and I smiled, but she looked uneasy. "What's wrong Care?" I asked her, "Matt's mom walked in on us making out last night and she probably thinks I'm such a slut." She said dramatically and I sighed hugging her. "You're not a slut Caroline." I told her and she squeezed me.Mom started introducing rhe bachelors, "And what do you do, Bachelor Number 3?" Bachelor number three then said, "Yeah, I'm a plumber." Mom turned to the audience, "Well, isn't that wonderful? We could always use more plumbers. Moving on. Number 4, "Alaric Saltzman." Wow. That's quite a mouthful. What do you do, Alaric?"
"I'm a teacher at Mystic Falls High." Alaric told us, "Oh, beauty and brains, ladies. This one's a keeper. What do you teach?" ALaric then said, "History."
"History. Oh, well, give us a fun fact about Mystic Falls, something crazy." Alaric looks over at Damon. Damon places his hand up to his ear, sarcastically anticipating a response. "Uh, well..." Mom pulls the microphone away. "He's probably saving the best stories for his date." She moves down the line, "And last, but not least, Damon Salvatore. We don't have much on you."
Damon smirked, "Well, I'm tough to fit on a card." I watched my moms movements as she then asked, "Do you have any hobbies, like to travel?" Damon then answered, "Oh, yeah. L.A., New York. Couple of years ago, I was in North Carolina. Near the Duke campus, actually. I think—I think Alaric went to school there. Didn't you, Ric?" Damon turns to look at Alaric, who does the same. What are you playing at Damon?
"Yeah, 'cause I-- I know your wife did." Damon told him, "I had a drink with her once. She was—she was a great girl. I ever tell you that? Cause she was -- Delicious. Mmm! Mmm mmm mmm." I rolled my eyes, and in a hushed tone said, "Dick."
—I walked up to my mom smiling, as I pulled out a raffle ticket from the bowl. "And bachelor number 3 goes to 37458." Mom announced and Matt's mom stood up, "That's me." I pulled a fake smile as she walked up to come over to hand us the ticket. "Ah. Kelly Donovan. Lovely. You and the plumber should have so much fun. She followed me over to Caroline, as CAre called out, "Congratulations, Mrs. Donovan." Kelly rolled her eyes and I raised an eyebrow.
"Okay, just stop. Stop trying so hard. Both of you, This thing you're doing, this nice thing, it's fake. Like you. Like your moms. And for some reason, Matt fell for it, but that doesn't mean that I will. I don't like you, okay? So tell plumber boy I'll be at the bar." Kelly said but before I could say anything Caroline said, "Okay." and Kelly walks off. Caroline looks hurt by Kelly's presumptions. "Bitch." I mumbled and hugged Caroline who squeezed me.
——After the auction mom came over to me, "I'm leaving honey, are you coming with?" she asked and I smiled. "No I'll just stay here. I'll be hone before cerfew, I have a paper to wrote and I need out fo the house." I told her and she kissed my head. "Okay." she said and tucked hair behind my ear.
I pulled my computer out of my bag, as Matt brought my fries over. "Thanks Matty!" I said cheery and he smiled before leaving me by myself.
I typed my history paper, and ate some fries. "Excuse me, Miss." I heard and turned seeing a beautiful handsome guy with striking blue eyes. "Hi." I said smiling, "Do you mind if I share this booth with you?" He asked and I closed my computer. "Course. Sit! I'm Aaliyah." I said, as he sat and held my hand out. "Noah Haskins." He said shaking it. I sensed the darkness, and saw nothing but blood. I cleared my throat pulling back. "It's great to meet you." I told him.
"You look beautiful this evening." He commented and I blushed. "You look dashing as well." I commented back. "Do you go to Mystic Falls High? I never see you around?" I asked him and he chuckled. "I just moved here actually, I'll be starting tomorrow. I need a pretty girl to show me around."
We talked for hours just getting to know each other before we exchanged numbers. "I have to get home, curfew." I said getting up and picking my things away. "Let me drive you home." He offered and I bit my lip smiling, "Okay."
I followed Noah to his car and climbed in as he started it up. The car purred making me smile brightly. He pulled out and I gave him detections to the Lockwood Mansion. He pulled up and turned to me as he put the car in park. "Here you are Aaliyah." He said and I sighed, "Thank you Noah." I said and turned to kiss his cheek but he moved and kissed my lips.
Our kiss deepened as he pulled me over the console and on to his lap. My ass his the horn and it beeped loudly making us jump apart and laugh. "I better go," I said blushing as I climbed back over opening the door. "I'll see you tomorrow beautiful." He called out before pulling out and driving off.

I got up to my room and closed my door behind me excited. I grabbed my phone calling Caroline who answered, "Hello?""Care! You'll never guess what just happened to me." I said excited before explain what happened.
