The Birthday

Noah and I pulled up as I got out. Noah took our suitcases inside, as I searched for my mother. "Mom!?" I called out, as I walked into the study. "Aaliyah!?" Mom called out and I turned as she hugged me tightly. "Welcome home honey" She says squeezing me. "It's good to be home." I say as Noah walked up. "My dad needs me, so i'll see you tonight?" he asks and kisses my cheek. "Mrs. Lockwood." He says and she smiles as he leaves. "I'm so glad you're home." She says and hugs me again making me smile.

I come down the stairs as Tyler and Caroline walk in the house. "Holy shit. Aaliyah!" Tyler yells and picks me up making me laugh. "Okay okay, some of us don't have the magic ability to heal." I joked as he set me on my feet. Caroline then hugged me making me smile.

"Whats on the agenda today?" I asked, "We are decorating for Elena's birthday party, which we should go before were late." Caroline says and we all go to leave.

I walk up the boarding house stairs, and I was sweeped off my feet making me laugh. "You're alive!" I told Damon who set me on my feet. Elena then hugged me tightly making me smile, "I don't blame you." she whispers, "I missed you." I hugged her back tighter, "I missed you too"

Caroline, Elena, Tyler, and I are there fixing the Salvatore house up for the party. Taking some napkins from Caroline, ELena says, "I feel like I have to fight Damon every single time we get a lead on Stefan." Tyler then chimes in, "Maybe he doesn't want to find him."

Looking at him in shock, I called out, "Tyler!" Tyler just says, "What? He's into you, isn't he?" I facepalm as Elena says, "The only reason Stefan left with Klaus was so that he could save Damon's life. I mean, trust me, Damon wants to find him.""But you kissed him?" Tyler says and Caroline gives him "the look". "Probably screwed with his head." Caroline then yells out, "Tyler!" Elena smiles and looks down. Caroline and Elena look at each other. "I'm sorry! He's an animal." I joked

"Don't worry about it. Look, yes I kissed him, but it was a...it was a goodbye kiss. I thought he was gonna die." Elena says and Sighs.  Tyler shrugs his shoulders. Elena's phone beeps. "I missed a call from Bonnie. I'll be right back."When Elena is out of sight. Caroline turns to my brother, "Just because I tell you things doesn't mean you're allowed to know them!" I start giggling and stop as Tyler shrugs, "Sorry. I've gotta run if I'm gonna change and pick up Sophie in time." I then turned to him, "Wait. You're bringing a date? Slutty Sophie is your date" Caroline asks

"Hey! It's been kinda slow in that department. And....I am horny all the time now!" Tyler says and I shake my head, "Yeah, tell me about it, sometimes I feel like I'm gonna explode! It's a...vampire...thing. Yeah, our emotions are heightened and we're on overdrive." Caroline tells him, "It's a werewolf thing too. Just like I can't turn it off."
I put my hands over my ears, "I'm not listening any more do da do da." I sang, as I watched them talk and then Tyler leaves.

When the party starts, I walk in and people cheered welcoming me back. I grabbed a bottle of Damon's burbon as he tries to take it out of my hands. "You don't want this. You want the cheap young stuff by the cheap young people." He says trying to compel me making me laugh. "You can't compel me Damon, I'm a witch remember." I say with a wink, before walking away.
"Ooo Stoner Avenue." I say smirking as I walked up on Matt and Jeremy smoking. "May I?" I asked and Jeremy hands it to me. I take a couple hits and hand it back. "Thank you." I say with a wink and walked away.

"I need to talk to you." I hear as Damon pulls me away from the party. He leads me outside, and I sit on the ledge as he hands me an address. "Noah already looked at this house. Nothing but a Banksy painting." I told him handing it back, "It's definitely Stefan."

"Noah thinks if we keep tracking him he'll come back and do a grand scheme to make us stop tracking him." I informed Damon who scoffed. "And we'll be ready for him." Damon says and I sigh. "I don't know Damon but it seems like he really doesn't want to be found, He'll come back." I told him but he refused as his phone went off.

"Andie wants me to pick her up." Damon says, "Your fake, compelled girlfriend wants you to be a chivalrous boyfriend?" Alaric says making me chuckle, "Well, it's a complicated dynamic."

"Yeah." I ask, "Well, hold the fort down, will ya?" Damon asks Alaric, "You mean the fort full of my drunk history students?" He asks, "Drink more, you will feel less weird." I offered making Damon smirk, "Were not done." He tells me and jumps down before leaving.

Noah then showed up making me smile as he greeted me with a kiss. He pulled me into the party and I winked at Alaric. I watched as Caroline and Tyler kissed before they passed us making me laugh. "Lets leave them to themselves." I mumbled making him smirk. "Lets go take a walk under the moon." he mumbled into my ear making me smirk.
