The Return

With everything going on, my dads death, Caroline in the hospital, you can officially say im stressed.

Noah kissed my neck as we stood in the mirror. "What do I do if I start sobbing?" I asked quietly so Tyler doesnt hear me. "Its a wake babe, no one cares if you cry. Its for your dad." he told me and I nodded taking a deep breathe. "Lets go." I told him. We went to leave but I froze. "I can't do this." I said and he spun me around so I faced him. "Yes you can." He whispered and kissed my head.

We finally get downstairs and I walk out to stand with my brother who was greeting guests. "Ali." Tyler said and hugged me making me smile softly. As we pull back from our hug A Ford Bronco XLT drives up to the front of the mansion and a man steps out.

"So the black sheep returns." Tyler said and I smirked, "Tyler? AAliyah?" Uncle Mason, I havent seen him since Christmas. " What happened to you? In my mind you're twelve and ten years old." Uncle Mason called out, "Then that's two years older than the last time you saw me, Uncle Mason." Tyler said and they hugged. He turned to me and engulfed me twirling me making me laugh. "Good to see you both again." Uncle Mason said and we agreed, "It's good to see you too. Come on inside." Tyler told him.

Everyone in the whole town talked and talked about how much of a great man my dad was. He was a dick to us but had a soft spot for me. I snuck into the liquor cabinet and made myself a drink. It was very strong but I threw it down my throat.

I shook my head making myself another. I downed it and stood up as Elena walked over to me. "Hey you." She said "Hey Lena." I mumbled. "How have you been?" She asked and I groaned placing my used glass in the flower pot. "Wishing I could get smashed." I said and we both chuckled. "I'm here if you need me" she said and I smiled placing a hand on hers. "Thanks Katherine." I said and suddenly I was against the wall, as I smirked.

"You know you're the first one to guess right. How'd you know?" She asked and I scoffed. "Elena would offer to get smashed with me." I said sarcastically, "No, I knew you were a vampire." I said and she raised an eyebrow.

Instead of answering I did a pain inflicting spell this one knocking me to my feet as she held her head groaning. "H-How. Bonnie couldn't." She managed out. "I'm not Bonnie." I snapped as it got stronger. Next thing I knew Noah was next to me.

I cut the spell off as Katherine leaned up. "Noah Haskins, I haven't seen you since 1920." Katherine said standing up. "Katerina. Leave." He snapped and she rolled her eyes. "But infiltrating Elenas life has become my best game yet." She said and flashed off.

Noah turned me to him, "I'm fine." I said as he checked me for bruises.

After Noah left, and the funeral disbanded, I heard a crash and rushed downstairs. Mom stood horrified as Tyler smashed everything in Dads office. "Tyler!" I called out and walked up to him. "Leave me alone Ali!" He yelled and pushed me back. I hit the wall, and my head bounced making me groan. "Tyler!" Uncle Mason yelled and grabbed him. "Calm down." He mumbled trying to calm my brother.

Mom helped me up and I sighed, "Are you alright?" Mom asked and I nodded, "Yeah, fine." I said and walked around her to Tyler who still breathed heavily. I wrapped my arms around him hugging him, and Mason let go. Tyler hugged me hurrying his head into my shoulder.

They left us by ourselves as he sobbed into my shoulder. "I got you." I whispered, "I'm not going anywhere Ty."
