Plan B

I lied and told my mom I was sick so I could get out of setting up for the Masquarade.

I laid in bed sighing as I watched Greys Anatomy. "Your mom said you were sick" Noah said appearing next to me. I turned and he pulled me to him. "What's wrong baby?" He whispered. "This was my dads favorite time of the year." I said laying my ear where his heart would be.

He ran his hand through my hair slowly making me smile.

My door opened and I jumped up seeing Damon. "I need you" is all he said and I raised an eyebrow. "Mason is in it with Katherine. We have to find the moonstone" Damon said and Noah gave me a look. "Tyler kinda.. gave it to him" I said with an innocent guilty smile. "We have to find it!" Noah yelled.

Which all that lead me to the Salvatore Boarding House where uncle Mason was tied up in a chair.

I sighed and rubbed my hands together, "Let's try this." I said and walked up to him. I placed my hands on the sides of his head and gasped as I saw images and his memories.

I was yanked back as I breathed heavily. "Babe. You're crying..." Noah trailed off and I wiped my tears showing blood. "What'd you see?" Damon asked. "A..A.." I trailed off and gulped, "I saw everything. How he turned, how he met up with Katherine. I know where the stone is." I told him. "Go get it." He said and I nodded rushing out of the room to my car.

Stefan walks over to the well and looks down into it, as I run up behind him. "Are you sure its down here?" he asked and I sighed, "Yes. 100%" I told him and Stefan pulls the lock off the iron grating. He then takes the grating off the top of the well. He turns on the flashlight. He and I look down the well. He sighs and looks at Me. He jumps onto the edge of the well and I hand him the flashlight.

"Hey. Be careful." I told him an Stefan gives me a reassuraning smile, "I'll only be down there for a minute."

Stefan jumps into the well. I hold my breath, but when I hear Stefan safely splash at the bottom I breathe out. Stefan shouts in pain, "Aaliyah!!!{" I looked over and yelled back, "Stefan, what's happening?!" I watch as Stefan attempts to climb out, but cannot. "What's going on in there?!"

"Vervain. Oh, God! Help!" He yelled back, "Stefan!" I called out before jumping off the from the edge of the well and tried to pick up the heavy chain on the ground. Except I'm not strong enough.

"NOAH!" I yelled but nothing.

"Aaliyah" Caroline said and I sighed in relief, "Caroline, Stefan's down there and the chain is rusted." Caroline starts to climb into the well, but I yell out, "No, no, no! You can't, it's filled with vervain. Caroline, we've got to get him out. Now! Caroline tries to process and grabs the chain from the ground while I climb on the edge of the well.

I wraps the chain around myself and hook it against one of the links. I looks at Caroline. "I got you, okay?" I nodded, "Yeah."
Bonnie then run up to us. "What's going on? You just took off in a blur." Bonnie asked, "I heard Aaliyah screaming. Help her, now!" Bonnie grabs My hand and help lower me into the well. " Caroine then turned to me, "Are you ready?" I nodded gulping, "Yeah."

With the help of Caroline I an slowly reeled down. Caroline loses hold of the chain for a second but grabs it just in time, "Sorry!" She yelled, "It's okay, keep going. Come on!" Caroline continues to lower me down into the well. I then quickly find Stefan, he's unconscious. I unhooks the chain from around myself and puts it around Stefan. "Hey! Oh, Oh my God." I said, "Ali, what's going on down there?" She asked, "Pull him up!" I yelled.

Caroline starts to pull the chain up from the well. Bonnie unties Stefan and, with the help of Caroline, places him on the ground. I turn the flashlight on looking around. "Elena? Ready for you!" Caroline called out, "Hold on! I need to find the stone." I said and gropesaround the cracks in the well for the stone. "Hurry!" Caroline yelled

I continue searching in the vervain-filled water. I then suddenly find a wooden box and picks it up. "Hold on! I think I found it!" I yelled, " I grab the box and a snake inches towards me, as it wraps onto her. I then scream and throw the snake off, except nother snake has crawled up my arm. I back up against the wall and pull the box out its hiding spot. I then tie the chain around myself again.

"Aaliyah! What's going on?!" Caroline yelled, "I got it. Come on! Bring me up!" I yelled back. Caroline reels me up. In the process I leave the flashlight in the well. Bonnie helps me when I finally gets out of the well. I look down at Stefan. I jump off the well and down to him.

"Oh, god! Stefan!" I yelled, as I cradle his head under her arm. Bonnie and Caroline rush over to her. "Stefan! Stefan." I try but he doesn't budge. "I'm gonna regret this," I said spotting a rock. I held my hand out and it came to my palm. I hissed as I cut my palm with it. "Sorry Care." I said as she turns away. I put it on to Stefan's mouth ans he opens his eyes as he drinks from me. "I've got the stone, Stefan. Stefan, it's gonna be okay, everything's gonna be okay."

Stefan and I walk into the boarding house and I stopped gaspong seeing my dead uncle. Stefan grabbed me turning me away, "Hey look at me. "He said, "It's going to be okay." he didn't compel me, he.. did it in a caring way. I wiped my tears as I walked away from the younger brother to the older as I took Mason's phone from Damon. "Ali." Damon said but I held up a finger at him. "Hang on." I said my voice broke.

"Carol, big opportunity in Florida, I'm gonna be gone for a long time. Will send for my things once I get settled. Much love, Mason"" I said wiping my tears. "Let's get rid of the body." Stefan said as I hand Damon Mason's phone. "Oh, last number dialed. I wonder who that could possibly be?" Damon joked, Damon pushes redial. Stefan tries to stop him. "No, no, no! Don't provoke her!" Katherine answers her phone, thinking its Mason calling. "Mason, you should have been here an hour ago." Stefan continues to try to get Damon off the phone, but Damon pushes him back. Stefan slaps his hand and walks away in frustration.

"Wrong boy toy." Damon said, "Damon. For once you've surprised me. I assume Mason is with you?" She asked, "He's right beside me! Although, his heart's across the room." Damon told her, "You shouldn't have." Katherine told him. "I've had a very busy day today. I killed a werewolf, found a moonstone. Hey, did you know that he hid the moonstone in the bottom of a well full of vervain? I guess he didn't trust you very much. Although, he did love you. Poor guy. Hey, where are you? Because, you know, I could bring him over. Last goodbyes and all that." Katherine just retaliates with, "You have no idea what you've just done." DAmon chuckled, "Aww, did I put a kink in your master plan? I'm so sorry." Katherine just calls back, "Do you honestly believe that I don't have a plan B? And if that fails, a plan C, then a plan D, and...you know how the alphabet works, don't you? Send my love to Stefan." She hangs up. Damon looks up at Stefan, and then me.

Damon walked me to my door, as he said, "I'm sorry Ali. You shouldn't of seen it." I sighed as I ran a hand through my hair. "First Bonnie unintentionally kills my dad, my uncle is working with Elena's evil twil, and is not dead, I can't loose anyone else Damon." I said tears falling. Damon pulled me to him and held my head to his chest. "I'm sorry." he mumbled and kissed my head.

He pulled back and looked me in the eyes, "You're going to go in, call Noah, take a relaxing bath and wake up tomorrow with a smile on your face like none of this ever happened okay?" He asked and I nodded, "Okay."
