I groaned as Noah shook me, and I looked up at him. I was back in my room and my curtains were still closed. "Noah?" I asked softly. "Morning baby, get dressed. We have a trip to make." he told me and I nodded as he kissed my head. I got up and turned opening my balcony curtains. I quickly got dressed, and did my hair and makeup.

I followed him downstairs and to his car, as Noah started it. "Where are we going?" I asked him and he smiled at me. "Me and you, are going on a roadtrip. I cleared it with Carol who believes a nice  mini vacation would be good for you." he said and reached over taking my hand making me smile.

As Noah drove my phone buzzed in my pocket and I pulled it out to see Elena calling me. "Hey Lena." I said answering it. "Hey, I'm going down to talk to Katherine. Do you want to come?" she asked and I turned to Noah. "I would, but Noah has whisked me away for some spontanious trip or something. I don't know he wont tell me." I said making her giggle with an ooo. "Well i'll text you what she says" She said and I smiled, "Alright bye Lena." I said and hung up.

I must of drozed off because when I woke up Noah parked and physically shook. "Noah?" I asked and he smiled, "Where are we?" I asked. "New Orleans, Louisiana." He answered and got out of the car before flashing to my side opening the door. "Why are we here?" I asked and he smiled cupping my cheek, "You wanted answers, and were going to get them." he said and then took my hand as I nodded smiling. We walked down the french quarter as we came up to a big house, "The Fauline Cottage, The last place a Corey witch was last seen alive." Noah explained and I smiled as I lead him towards the cottage.

We walked in and I looked around as Noah talked to a lady. He then took my hand and whispered in my ear "Dont drink anything." I nodded as he wisked me upstairs to a room. He knocked on the door and a woman turned around. "Melanie, this is.." he went to introduce but she grabbed me hand and smiled. "Aaliyah Corey." She said and I chuckled. "Lockwood. I was adopted." I corrected her and she nodded. "Sit babies sit." She said and Noah and I sat down on her bed.

"Do you know my bio mom?" I asked her and she smiled nodding. "Francesca was a beautiful witch, but the real person you take after is Celia Mae." She said and turned grabbing a picture from her desk she sat at. She handed it to me and I was speechless. We were are doppelgängers. "Oh my god." I whispered and asked, "She knew Emily Bennett?" I asked confused seeing the other picture.

"She did, poor dear, Emily was burned at the stake for trusting a snake named Katerina." Melanie spat out her name making me sigh as I squeezed Noah's hand. "Melanie it's pull time!" A guy called out before turning to us. "You two need to leave." He spat before Noah pulled me up and out of there.

"You've heard every story but mine." He said and I turned to him confused. He pulled me towards a restaurant and sighed smiling. "Rousseau's." He said and pulled me inside. "Is that.. little Noah Haskins!" I heard and Noah laughed hugging a colored guy. "I'm not that little Joe." He came back with. "You'll always be little to me." He smirked and turned to me, "You must be.." he trailed off and I laughed holding a hand out, "Aaliyah Lockwood." I said and he shook it. "You must be something special to be shown around by him." He winked at me making me giggle.

Noah put our food order in before we sat at a table. He reached into his pocket getting his wallet out and gave me a folded picture. I grabbed it and opened it

"She always wore spelled lupus lazuli around her neck. It was her thing back in the day." Noah recalled smiling softly. "But she wasn't a vampire?" I asked. "No, it was spelled with dark magic. It had the power of every witch in her well your family. It was lost after she was killed." Noah said with a sad tone, "maybe she didn't." I said but he shook his head, "I know she was killed because she asked me to do it." He said and I was shocked.

"I ripped her heart out in front of Klaus who came to her for a favor. He's been angry with me since." He told me and I nodded as he handed me the picture. "You're a doppelgänger Aaliyah, but your mom.. she.. her name was Francesca Corey. The Coreys are bloodline witches going back before Salem. Celia hated it." Noah said chuckling.

"So she went by her first and middle name." I said smiling and Noah nodded. "Listen." I said and placed a hand on his. "I know this is hard for you, okay? But I love you," I said and he chuckled. "I love you too." He told me and pecked my lips.

"What did Klaus want with Celia?" I asked and he sighed. "He wanted information on the curse and how to break it. Celia knew tricks and tips but didn't want to spill it." He said and I nodded understanding. Joe brought us our food with a smile left us.

We walked through the cemetery before we stopped at a cement block. "Here she is." He said and placed a hand on it.

'Celia Mae Corey' was read and I sighed placing a hand on it. Suddenly I gasped as a bright white light appeared. "I knew he'd show you at some point." I heard and looked around. "Celia?" I asked and she smiled. "Hi honey," she spoke and walked over hugging me. "You're powerful but not enough." She said and then whispered Latin in my ear.

I gasped as Noah yanked me back. I felt tears but wiped them away finding blood. "What the hell happened?" I asked and he chuckled looking at me. "She gave you her magic." He spoke and I looked at him weirdly. "That's what that was."
