Founders Day

I grunted as the strings of the corset tightened. "Suck it up." Noah called out making me groan. "How do you even know how to do this?" Jenna asked Noah who chuckled. "My mom was big on corsets when she was in Mystic Falls back in the day." Noah told her and Jenna nodded. Jenna helped Noah wrap my skirt around my waist and tie it.

A small knock came at the door and Elena popped her head in. "Your mom is throwing a fit Liyah we gotta get out there." I nodded and then turned to Jenna as Noah slid my shoes on. "Thank you Jenna seriously." I said and hugged her. She smiled and hugged me back. "No problem honey."

I followed Elena out of the school and we met up with Stefan and Damon. Elena curtsied and I winked waving. I left her and followed Noah to my mom who put my sash on me. "Smile big honey." Mom said and Noah helped me up on the Miss Mystic float. "About time." Caroline snapped and I sighed, "Sorry I havent been feeling good." I lied and she smiled softly knowing how I get. I once missed two months of school because of how sick I get.

The parade started and we waved at everyone. "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our stunning Miss Mystic Falls Court and their handsome escorts." everyone was laughing and waving. "This is Aaliyah Lockwood, Miss Mystic Falls. Aren't they beautiful?" Mom announced.

After changing into different clothes we walked around the festival. Noah pulled me close to him and whispered in my ear, "Let's ditch. I have a place to show you." he said and I smirked turning. I nodded and kissed his lips.

Getting to the house we made out in my bed when suddenly I felt a small pressure in my head and Noah pulled back falling off my bed onto the floor groaning and yelling. "Noah! Noah!?" I yelled kneeling next to him as he continued his yells of agony.

When he finally stopped he leaned up, "Are you okay?" I asked him, "It was like needles were piercing my skull and it just stopped. It's the Gilbert's device. It has to be." Noah told me, "But how did they get it to work? Bonnie unspelled it." I told him.

"Maybe she didn't." Noah suggested, "She did, we saw her do it!" I insisted, "No, Aaliyah Think about it. We asked Bonnie to deactivate a device that could protect people against vampires." Noah said and I turned frantically going for my phone. "Ali?" he asked but I called Elena.

"Ali? Are you okay?" she asked.
"Yeah, Noah and I both wheres Stefan and Damon?" I asked her.
"Stefan is here with me, were working on finding Damon ill keep you in touch." she said and I sighed hanging up.

I turned to Noah and we shared a look.

"AALIYAH" I heard and jumped as Noah jumped. "I'll be back." I said and walked out of my room. "Yes mama?" I called out and came down the stairs. She was crying, Sheriff Forbes was standing there. "Mom?" I asked and they both turned to me. "Whats going on?" I asked and, and wiped her tears turning to me. "Its your dad honey, hes dead."

I sat in my room sobbing in Noah's arms when Damon vamp flashed into my room. "Aaliyah." he breathed and I turned as he hugged me. "They took him down Damon, my dad went down and they thought he was a vampire he wasn't." I ranted and he squeezed me more. "I know Ali I know." he whispered. "I saw him, Ali. I wanted to help him but I couldn't" He handed me off to Noah before dissapearing. Noah shushed me as he held me tightly "I got you baby. I got you." he mumbled to me.
