Daddy Issues

I ran up to Elena's door and banged on the door. It was silent but I banged again. Elena opened the door and he eyed me. "Whats up?" she asked, "I've been tossing and turning all night Elena. I need someone to tell me to stop before I start having a freak attack." I told her as I followed her into the kitchen.

We go into the kitchen as John switches off the TV. "Morning." John says and I turned nodding, "What are you doing here?" I asked, "Coffee?" he asked and I sighed pouring myself a cup. "You dont need that, you're freaking out enough." Elena said and took it before turning to John, "We're not doing that. We did that last night. No more avoiding. Why are you here?" "I'm here to protect you. That's all I can say for the moment." John told her, "What do you mean that's all you can say?" Elena asks, "I'll tell you more when I'm convinced I can trust you. Aaliyah are you okay?" he asked as I sighed.

Jenna and Alaric enter the room. Jenna notices John's presence before Alaric does. "Oh God, I'm late." Jenna declares, "That's what you get for hitting the snooze three times!" Alaric laughedJenna sees John and is surprised. "What the hell?" Jenna asked, "Good morning to you, Jenna. Alaric..." John says, "It's okay I'm confused, right? Because we were not expecting you, like, ever." Jenna says, "Well, I got in late last night. Elena let me in." John tells her and I groan as I run a hand through my hair. "You know, I'm uh, probably just gonna take off." He looks at Elena and leaves.

I look down at my phone seeing Noah calling me. I hit decline as Jenna calls out, "I'm still confused here." John just says, "I decided to come back and stay for a while." Jenna scoffs, "Not here, you're not." John smirked, "Actually, you can't stop me from living here."

"Actually I can, as legal guardian." John cuts her off, "Yeah, about that...um, Elena, you want me to explain the situation, or would you like to do the honors?" John asks as my phone buzzes again. I decline the call from Noah again and put my phone on Do Not Disturb. "Okay, what's going on?" Jenna asks, "I'm sorry, Jenna. I should have told you earlier, but--" JOhn interrupts Elena, "I'm Elena's biological father. There, now you know." He walks away, leaving Elena alone to deal with a confused Jenna. "What?!"

"I'm gonna.. go." I say as I follow John out the door.

"Are you here because Stefan called Isobel?" I asked and he froze before turning back to me. Noah showed up beside him and he turned to Noah before looking back at me. "Yes." he says and leaves.

Noah turned to me and asks, "Are you going to tell me why you havent been answering?" I nod before saying, "Lets take a walk."

"Wait so she told Tyler?" he asked and I nodded, "Yeah." I mumbled before sighing as I sat on the bench in town square. "I'm scared, no i'm terrified Noah. Whats going to happen now?" I asked him and he sat beside me, as he took my hand in his. "You might have to let him go Liyah." he says but I turned to him quickly, "I can't thats my brother." I told him and he nodded.

"I understand that babe, but listen to me okay? If this goes south I want you to save you." He tells me and I nodded, not trusting my voice. He pulled my to him and I leaned on him as he side and side hugged me.

Noah moved as he grabbed his phone. "Stefan?" he asked. "Course.. okay. Bye."

"Whats going on?" I asked, "The wolves took Caroline, and Stefan wants me to keep you safe. Jules told Tyler about what you playing a part." he told me and I groaned standing up. "I have to talk to him." I said and started to walk off. Noah appeared in front of me. "No no no." He says, "Stefan is handeling it, it's better if you just.. lay low." he tells me and I sighed. "Fine, can we get some snacks and go watch a movie or something?" I asked smiling. "Course." He told me and took my hand as we walked towards the grill.

I sat on Tyler's bed and looked over as he walked in. "Can I explain?" I asked as he saw me. He nodded and came over sitting next to me. "He threatened our lives Tyler.. He almost killed me in Damon didnt get him first." I said finishing the explanation.

"How do I know you're not a vampire?" he asked me. I stood up and held my hand out, "Huckleberry Finn." I said and the book came into the room, and into my hand. "Whoa." Tyler mumbled. "I'm a witch."
