i'm never gonna have a son, but i'm not gonna live up to live one either

basically, life is disgusting.

it's fucking shit.

i've known this since forever, you don't have to worry.

but look at what the world's come to today; anyone and i mean anyone can be accused of rape. and the accused is instantly considered guilty because you cannot speak against the "victim"

don't you think what's anywhat wrong?

i think it's very wrong.

i hate feminism, i believe i've stated that many times.

every industry is disgusting sexually, there's always something horrifying going on. every; but most viewed are of course film and music.

and that makes a lot of sense, of course. they're the first things you see. they're celebrities, it's the easiest for them to get heard.

but do you know how painful it is for someone whose all hopes and dreams fall into music industry to read about all the filth of the said industry?

because, frankly, there is nothing i'll ever be able do other than music. and my whole life depends on my ability to achieve something in music. i'm practically incapable of doing anything else. there's nothing left, i've already wasted so many interests. i've given up on many things, just following the belief of being able to become a musician.

unlike a lot of people think, i'm actually aware of how hard it is to become not anyone but anything in the music industry. some people may think it's much easier in these times when there's so many new stars popping up. but it was frankly easier back when people were trying to find themselves and they listened to whatever the music industry had to offer. it's how "genres" such as "emo" started existing; simply because people listened to the first things they heard and they happened to come across good music. god bless those people, to be honest.

but where did it go? why is rock becoming neglected? where did punk go? i mean, they obviously still exist and they're present, but i don't see them breaking scenes anywhere. because it isn't enough to be a cute guy anymore, an angelic voice isn't enough, original sounds don't matter. it's all about the amount of skin you're showing. literally nothing else. it's not even about the meanings behind your lyrics, it's simply sex.

sex has always been around (duh), but why is it so active now?

again, it's simple.

religion. and lgbt.

even though we still live in a world with discrimination-leaning people, our times are much more accepting of things than what we may think. and that is honestly beautiful to me. we accept people of any religion and any sexuality, we've learned how kink-shaming is bad (people still gotta learn a lot about kinks though) and we believe love is love, in a all forms and fashions.

but something's expiating here. and it's the music industry.

films can do whatever they want; it's either fictional or real events. but in the end, it's all fake. the actors can portray anyone and it's most times for educational purposes. a person can learn a lot from movies. this is how i came to understand why my father hates movies like "mr bean" - he doesn't think movies should be silly. and i partially agree. partially, because i still like a good laugh.

but the music industry is really at pain when it comes to the freedom of religion and sexuality.

again, sex was obviously always a completely normal thing. but can you see for how long it's been a taboo topic? something considered disgusting? a pleasure only between the sheets and not to be spoken off outside the bedroom? not essentially for pleasure, but for the pure purpose of reproduction.

now, sex is what sells. sex is what the musicians' fans will buy, but also what anyone involved with marketing and advertising will buy. there are small artists and big artists who don't use the advantage of sex advertising and their music is beautiful, their music is real, their music is there for the music, not the money. and they might have money, better lives than most of us. but they're being thrown into the shadows of what they're a part of - the music industry. the top ten hits are mostly about sex. lately, the same thing goes for top one hundred. because people aren't living for the music anymore, they're living for the money. yes, money is the most important aspect of human life. but can you look back at the people who were broke and still worked their asses off every each day for the sake of creating? and those people still exist, but we don't focus on them. only their fans do.

music videos show nudity, they celebrate human bodies. and the love for our bodies is very positive, no lie there. but why here? why use music for that? because it sells? because it's easier to get heard, checked out? i don't see the point in mixing your self-love parades with music. music is supposed to be inspirational, something life-giving. you're supposed to listen to the heart that the singer has in their voice, the heart in the fingers pressing and strumming the strings, the heart in the drumbeats, the heart in the fingers on the piano keys. wherever music comes from, you're supposed to be able to hear it. music isn't here for you to show off what's allegedly beautiful in your videos while you sing with no emotion. your song is only there because dancing to nothing makes no sense and no one is gonna watch a silent video.

besides, all the music videos make young people insecure. it's always girls who wear sizes smaller than the smallest size your local store has, with asses you could get if you had a pair of identical round pillows, boobs that look more like giant orbs of jelly than actual body parts. it's always guys with ten packs instead of your attempts at a six pack, the same haircuts, the arm muscle that is literally the only thing lifting them in life.

the listeners, the watchers - what's the possibility they'll end up looking like that? and of course they'll want to look like that. because "only pretty people make it to music videos" and what's shown is what's allegedly beautiful. that's not promoting self-love. that's showing you what you're supposed to be. and that's sadly what many young people are trying to turn themselves into.

i am so thankful for the music that's able to save, to inspire. i'm not saying it should be the only thing on the charts. everyone has their right to express themselves the way they want to. but doing everything for the money and nothing for the music isn't expressing yourself.

i want music. i want to make it. and i want to make money from it like everyone does. but i don't want to be eyecandy and i don't want to be associated with anything of the sort. i want to sing about what i'm feeling, i want the instruments to reflect the sounds of my heartbeats. but seeing what's music become, it's scary to make your life depend on making it in the music industry. but i have nothing other than it.

i'm scared of my future, but i'm excited about it.
