"I said I don't really care, Gabe." I sighed as I was talking to him on the phone, "Just do what you want."

Okay, no, Gabe and I are not back together, but we're talking again. I don't really know how to stop talking to him since he was my first boyfriend ever. I feel like there's still that small hope of me growing feelings for him. I don't know why, but I do feel that way, as if, Gabe will show me that I really do like him enough to be with him again because he still likes me after being in LA for so long. As if I'm that amazing girl that he can never replace. Such high hopes, but at least they're hopes and not doubts, right?

"Jenna! Should I should try drumline or not? I mean, did do drumline in high school."

"Did you like it though?"

"It was fun!"

"But fun enough to join again? You already done it in high school so why not try new things?"

"That's true. Should I do art club?"

"Gabe," I groaned as I turned over my bed, "I said do what you want. You're the one in college, not me."

"Soon you will be." Gabe chuckled, "Welp, gotta go, Miss Jenna. Talk to you later!"

"Okay, later."

We hung up, and I noticed a difference in Gabe. He's not as clingy as before, and we haven't been fighting lately. I guess I'm the reason why it stopped because once I called him after that short period of time not talking to him, I told him that I just want us to forget what happened and move on which he did and I highly appreciate. Even so, he stopped complimenting me, saying the L word to me, and such. As if we were never a couple, which is odd but fine with me. Less drama in my life because I still this other problem to deal with. Not really a problem but a...

"JENNA!!!!" I heard the guys yell my name from the backyard. I walked to the balcony, and I see the all of them in the pool, enjoying themselves.

My eyes immediately goes to Calum who was smiling at me, "Wanna join us? It's a beautiful day out!"

I shook my head, "No thanks, I'll burn."

"Oh cooome on!" Calum waved his hand at me, "The water is great."

I shook my head, "Next time maybe."

"Promise?" He took out his pinky, and I shook my head, "What are you? A 5 year old?"

"Young at heart and you know it."

I rolled my eyes, but took out my pinky, "Promise."

"STOP BEING SO ADORABLE, YOU TWO!!" Michael splashed water Calum and the guys started having a water splashing fight. I shook my head at them and walked back inside, then heard my text tone went on.

I took my phone and Triston name popped up.

"Is it possible to see you again?" He texted me, and I replied back, "Possibilities are endless." then put my phone on my back pocket.

Triston and I been texting each other for a while but I don't really like him. He's a cool guy, but that's all he is to me. There's nothing really significant about him that got me head over heels. He doesn't play any instruments, and not really into the music I like. He surfs, skate, and snowboard, and is quite the popular guy. I know this because he keeps attempting on inviting Lani and I to parties.

"I'm telling you," Lani gave me a glass of water, "Triston haves a thing for you and that thing is to get into your pants."

"That's is disgusting." I scrunched my nose, "I never even had make out session with Gabe."
