Homecoming.

Fantastic. Another dance where we have excuse to go to the person we like and sacrifice our dignity to get them as our date for a dance where we could dress with our nice attire and be fancy for the night. Well, at least that's how I see it.

"I seriously don't want a date this year." My friend, Belle, groaned as we were sitting with our friends during lunch, "Cause I really just want to dance around. The guys here are too sissy for me."

"So picky." I chuckled and Belle nudged me, saying, "Would be great if your famous boyfriend came, though. We would loooove to see him bust some moves on the dance floor."

"I would love to see that also."

Calum and I been doing well lately. We don't bicker...at the time, but sometimes we bump heads and that's because we love each other too much. Nah, just kidding, we just get busy sometimes which is fine.

"Who you think is gonna ask you, Jenna?" Alyssa asked me and I shrugged, "Hopefully no one. This girl is taken. You think anyone is gonna ask you, Lyss?"

She shook her head, "I hope not also. I don't want to deal with guys right now."

Her and Anthony stopped talking completely, and stayed that way. Alyssa is doing better now which is great, and is taking a break from guys right now.

"You think Calum is gonna ask you?" Alyssa nudged me and I shook my head, "I don't think so, knowing him and his busy self, we won't even be in the same country when homecoming happens."

"That's true." She nodded, "I would love to meet him officially though. Give him a warning to not hurt you and punch him in the face."

"Not his face!" I whined to her, "It's too cute to be injured."

"You are so whipped." One of our friends chuckled and I shrugged, smiling, "I guess I am."

Yeah, and not ashamed of it at all.

"What happens if I did ask you, though?" Calum asked me after school, "Cause I would."

"I know you would but you caaaan't!" I pointed my pencil at him, "And try to and I shall kick your butt."

"Gee," Calum scoffed, "Most girls would be flattered to get asked."

"Yeah, but most girls don't have famous busy boyfriends, now do they?"

"Touche. I wish I could go though. It would be nice to see you all dressed up in person."

I nodded, sighing, "I would love that too, Calum."

I mean, it would be great if Calum does have time to ask me, but then yet again, he's busy and I don't want to be the reason why 5sos is holding back. It sucks, but if Calum is still my boyfriend, it still makes me happy.

The next day was pretty terrible.

Alyssa's ex asked the girl he's been talking to during break and man, her face was unforgettable.

Anthony did this whole huge serenade with back up vocals to help him harmonize, and he brought her flowers.

"I fucking hate him." Alyssa mumbled under her breathe, "He'a dick."

"True." Our friends agreed, and I added, "He's not worth it, Lyss. Just remember to have fun at the dance, okay?"

"Oh don't worry," She stabbed her fork on her salad, "I'm gonna be dancing my ass off at the dace and it's great that he's not my date anymore cause if we were still together, he would me back and keep tied down."
