Awkward.

That's all I'm thinking.

How awkward this all is.

We were now eating pizza in the living area with me sitting with Lani and Luke by her side of coarse, while Calum is right in front of me and Michael and Ashton sitting with him also.

"So," Michael said, "You're gonna be staying with us for a while?"

I nodded, swallowing my pizza, "Yeah, I hope that's fine with you guys." I know it's obviously fine but apparently, a certain Aussie was not informed of me staying in the guy's place for a while.

"It's great actually," Luke put his arm around Lani's waist, "Lani got someone to bond with."

Lani rolled her eyes, shaking her head, "I've been practically living you guys for months already, so I am beyond used to it by now." then she rested her head on my shoulder, "But it's refreshing having another girl around to feel my pain."

"You think your dad could make some burgers for us?" Ashton grabbed another slice of pizza, "Lani says it's the best."

"Sure is." I smiled at him, "I could always ask him."

I took a glance Calum who was looking at his phone, obviously not interested in the conversation. Wow. You could look at your phone but don't bother to text me back? Or even contact me at all?

"So," I took a sip of my drink, trying to keep a conversation going, "Why are you guys in LA?"

"Recording, writing, the usual." Michael shrugged, and I chuckled, "The musician life."

"Pretty much."

Then Lani jumped, "Speaking of Musicians!" then looked at me, "Did you bring your Ukulele?!"

Ah, damn it. "I did, actually." I mumbled, and I see Calum's eyes looking at me now when I took another glance at him then looked at Lani, "Want me to get it?"

"Please?! I wanna play with it!"

I nodded, and got up, "Give me a minute." then ran upstairs, getting my ukulele.

Once I got it, I decided to sit down on my bed to process everything that just happened. It all make sense now. The fact Lani been acting weird and the fact the place was kind of messy. Goddamnit. My head is spinning on the fact that Calum said that today is that one day we keep telling each other. I shook my head, and sighed to myself, "Get yourself together, Jenna." then got up and looked at myself in the window reflection, "That is the past. This summer is about you now. Don't let this rockstar get in your way again."

I looked at my wrist, and I was wearing the ukulele bracelet. Should I keep it on? Calum will see it, but then again, he doesn't care about me anymore. So, I nodded to myself, and walked out.

"God," Lani smiled at me as she was strumming the ukulele, "I miss this thing."

"How come you can't just buy yourself one?" I asked her, and she shrugged, "I keep forgetting!" then her eyes trailed down to my wrist, "Aww, is this the bracelet Gabe gave you?"

I flinched, hearing Gabe's name in the same room with Calum. I swallowed the lump in my throat and nodded, playing the bracelet, "Yeah, it is."

"Why does it say Ukulele?" Luke asked me and Lani looked at him, "Are you really asking that question, Hemmings?"

Luke looked confused for a second till his eyes lit up and smiled, "OH! Wow."

"Stupid." She rolled her eyes at him, and Luke started snuggling her saying, "Lani is so mean to me!!"
