Listen to yourself, when a change of routine is required.
Don't push on with the same game plan, if it's becoming arduous and tired.
If you're coming up with excuses, to avoid whatever you have planned,
Change things up a bit, swap workouts for walks, walks for the gym or even the gym for a swim!

It's all about being able to recognise the signs and rather than giving up completely,
Allow yourself flexibility, don't just stick with familiarity.
As long as you are happy, healthy and listening to your body,
Do whatever makes you smile, that's the main goal at the end of the day.

As previously explained, I do not find exercise easy!  I have to work at it and often, I get bored of the same routine and cannot sustain it over a long period of time.  So, for me, changing things up helps.  Sometimes walking will give me the lift that I need.  Other times it's a gym workout or exercise class.  Accepting that doing the same thing week in week out, isn't always the best way, is key.  Do whatever it is you enjoy in that moment.  At the end of the day, it's about how it makes you feel, not about how many calories you burn or how much you sweat!
