Regardless of size, putting your life on hold until you reach that perfect weight, does no one any good.
This will be my collection of poems reflecting on societies obsession with weight and size and the effect this has on us and how we can change...
Apart from the next thing, That leaves me deflated on the ground.
Just to have a day, where I fly all the way through Rather than allowing others to twist my point of view.
This is something that happens to me too often. I am loving life, self confident and accepting of my body. Yet a comment, an article, a certain picture can bring me crashing to the ground where I'm back to not believing I'm good enough. I don't fit in. I need to change. I try to limit the ways that this can happen. I follow only positive advocates for beauty standards and also try to pass that positive message onto others. However, it's hard. But I won't stop trying.
