I'm trying to remain positive,
To remember all I've learned.Yet I'm bombarded constantly,
With images of a better self. It's hard to love yourself,
When all around is showing you different.A society programmed to despise,
Any form of increased size.As I sit here tonight,
Trying with all of my might,To remember I'm still the same person inside.
Despite the body fat I so desperately try to hide.I have to remember everyone has tough days, they are the ones which make us stronger.
