To feel carefree, for just a while.
Relieved of worries, wearing only a smile.
No thoughts of size, too fat, too thin?
Only of the beauty, that's held within.Something we all strive for, day after day.
Imagine there truly, was a way,
To just be carefree, for a while,
Wearing nothing but a smile.I wrote this on a difficult day, when my mind seemed permanently focussed on my weight. It made me think how wonderful it would be to be completely carefree, just for a while. Not to be worrrying about how I looked. Just enjoying life. Do any of us truly ever achieve this? I hope so. And it's something that I strive for, every day.
