"A friend in need's a friend indeed"
Be careful of the type of friend, who only appears when you're in need.
They may be boosting their own ego, it's off your misery they'll feed.
When you are riding high, confidence intact, they won't be found, I guarantee that.
Stick with the ones who are there for it all, they'll be the one to catch you when you fall.A true friend, will pick you up when you're down,
They'll never highlight your flaws, that's not why they stick around.
If you have doubts in yourself, they're there to wash them away.
Make sure you're friends are these people, these are the ones you want to stay.Of course, friends who are there for us when we are down are important. Without a shadow of a doubt. However, the key is recognising those who prefer when we are down. There is such a huge difference. They'll comfort without actual reassurance. They'll say they understand but will not actually do anything to lift you up. True friends will be enraged with you and for whatever reason you are feeling down, try and find a way to lift you or tell you that you are wrong to feel this way as you are amazing. Surround youself with this type of person. And also, be this type of person.
