Mirror mirror on the wall, do you favour me?
Do you think me good enough, with everything you see.Mirror mirror on the wall, do you think me fair?
Do you think me pretty enough, that no other can compare.Mirror mirror on the wall, do you think me worthy?
Of happiness and loyalty, even though I'm curvy.Mirror mirror on the wall, why do I care so much?
About the things you reflect to me, that others want to judge.Mirror mirror on the floor, why do you shatter so?
You've only brought me misery, that's why you had to go.A little humour in this one :) The demise of the mirror in the end signifies an end to the constant need for the reflection to make the person feel good enough. We all see something different when we look in the mirror. It very rarely gives a true reflection. We agonise over little imperfections that we alone see. And whilst I'm not condoning smashing your mirror (seven years bad luck and all that!), but rather putting an end to the constant need for acceptance from the reflection. Again, I'm still working on this one but you'll be glad to know my mirror is still in tact! :)
