Through the eyes of youth, you see the damage that can be done,
When you focus on one ideal, rather than to be accepting of everyone.
Ensure that they know exactly how they are, is more than good enough.
Changes do not need to be made, let them enjoy simply growing up.As a Mother, this is something that worries me greatly. Having gone through many years of not feeling good enough, there is nothing you want more than for your children to never have to feel that way. However, in reality, it can be unavoidable. All you can do is remind them often, what truly matters. Ensure they fully appreciate diversity and love people for who they are. They will find their own way in this world, all we can hope is that they don't fall victim to the evergrowing pressures of society, to be an unachievable "ideal". Let them know, we are all "ideal"!
