Every morning, I awake, I should be thankful for the strength,
My body gives me, each day, instead of wishing it weren't mine.Every morning, I awake, I should be thankful for its curves,
For they support me, in a way, no other body could, I'm sure.Every morning, I awake, I should be thankful for its flaws,
Each one of them, a challenge won, each one a blessing to behold. So this next morning, that I awake, I shall be thankful for all you are,
My beautiful body, I apologise, for not recognising all of your worth, so far.Ah, if only it were this easy! I wish I could achieve this every day. However, the main thing is, I continue to try! I try to be thankful for this wonderful body I have been gifted. Even if there are times when I wish it looked a different way. It's mine. I should recognise its worth and be thankful for it. As difficult as this sometimes can be. Keep trying!
