Regardless of size, putting your life on hold until you reach that perfect weight, does no one any good.
This will be my collection of poems reflecting on societies obsession with weight and size and the effect this has on us and how we can change...
She made a promise to herself, to stop with all the hate. She'd give love and compliments instead, resisting habits to berate. She'd appreciate the positives, rather than focusing on the negatives. She'd made a promise to herself, to love all that she was.
And this is a promise I make to myself every day. Sometimes I succeed. Sometimes I don't. But each day, I make the same promise. That's all I can do.
