A comment here, a snigger there,
"Have you seen her jeans?", "Check out her hair!"
Childish jokes, at their expense,
It does no harm, there's no consequence.
Yet if you took the time, to empathise,
Of how it feels, scarred by judging eyes.
You'd surely stop, with your hurtful words,
As to cause someone pain, is unforgivable.
Another poem for the judgemental people. Throwaway comments and remarks inflict scars, far deeper than they could ever realise. To cause someone pain in this way, is so wrong. Think before you make fun of another person. For whilst it may feel like fun to you, it is anything but to the other person.
