"Let go of me! Just take me to Ben," you scream at the willowy ginger dragging you down the hall.

"Quiet girl," he snaps. "There is no Ben here."

"There is," you insist. "He goes by a different name now."

"Pray tell, what name does your Ben call himself?"

"Kylo Ren." The ginger freezes.

"Why are you looking for him," he asks cautiously.

"He asked me to meet him here. I'm not lying."

"I'll bring him to you. Just stay here," the ginger orders. You nod and stand against the wall. After a few minutes, you hear voices.

"I told you, I am waiting for a girl."

"This is important Ren."

"And this girl is too. Have you seen her? She's tall, (H/C) hair, (E/C) eyes, answers to the name (Y/N) Solo?"

"Ben," you shout, and run towards him as Ben and the ginger from earlier round the corner. You throw your arms around his neck and hug him. Ben lifts you a few inches off the ground, hugging you.

"Ben! It's been forever! I've been everywhere Ben, but I missed you so much."

"(Y/N)! You've grown," Ben says, setting you down. You giggle.

"You always say that," you say, and Ben laughs and messes up your hair.

"Well, it's true. You're almost as tall as me."

"Have you heard from Mom and Dad?" Ben shakes his head.

"No. You," he asks.

"No. I haven't spoken to them since they sent you away." The ginger clears his throat. Ben glances behind him.

"My apologies," he says. "(Y/N), this is General Hux. Hux, this is my little sister, (Y/N)."

"Hello General," you say, and extends your hand for him to shake. He takes it, and stares into your eyes. You stare back, refusing to be intimidated.

"Why is she here," General Hux asks Ben.

"She's joining the First Order," Ben answers.

"If I knew that, I would have been ready for her arrival. What's her job going to be?"

"(Y/N) is going to be a warrior. She'll fight beside me."

"Alright. I'll see to it that a room is prepared for her." With that, General Hux walked off.

"Sorry about him," Ben says. "He's kind of annoying. I should have been there to greet you."

"It's fine," you answer. "He isn't so bad.... Kind of cute."

"The last guy you said was cute ended up leaving you stranded on Tatooine."

"He was sorry."

"He cheated on you."

"He was sorry for that too."

"You still broke up with him."

"No, you ran him through with a lightsaber."

"I did, didn't I?" You glare at Ben. He's obviously pleased with himself, so you walk away with a huff. You end up getting lost, and Hux finds you and promises he won't tell Ben what happened.

A week later, you bump into Hux in the hallway. "Hello General," you say, smiling. "I was hoping to run into you."

"And I you Miss Solo," Hux says. "Come along. We need to talk." You follow him to his quarters. Hux shuts the door behind him and gestures toward two chairs. "Sit," he orders, and you obey. Hux takes the seat across from you. "Listen, (Y/N), I have been feeling...strange lately. Whenever you're around, I feel fluttery, exhilarated, but at the same time, I feel afraid. I've never felt this way before."

"Oh. You just have a little crush on me."

"How do you know?"

"I've felt the same about other guys."

"How many?"

"Five. I've only dated three of them though."

"Why's that?"

"My brother killed them. After the last one, guys refused to date me."

"I understand why." To Hux's surprise, you laugh. He gives you a half smile, and you smile back. He is relieved to find the smile full of warmth and affection. "I'm not afraid of Ren killing me," Hux says, "so would you maybe like to go out with me?"

"Sure," you say, and he grins.

"Meet me here at six PM tonight."

"Can't. Ben wants me in a meeting."

"I have to go to that meeting too. How about we skip it?" You grin at him.

"It's a date," you say.

Two months later, you and Hux are curled up together in his armchair, drinking tea and watching a movie. By now, everyone on Starkiller Base knew you two were dating. Everyone except your brother. You two prefered to keep it that way. Your parents didn't know either. Han Solo was hard to find, and you weren't on speaking terms with him or Leia anyway. Hux's father was dead, and he never met his mother. When the movie is over, you stand up to leave, but Hux pulls you back down into the chair with him.

"I should go Armitage," you say. You are the only one who calls him by his first name. "It's getting late."

"Why don't you stay the night," he asks, placing a kiss on your cheek, and another on your neck, then looks into your eyes, a small, teasing smile on his face. You smile at him, and kiss his mouth.

"I'd love to," you say, and you two get up and go over to his bed. Long story short, that night was...eventful. Very eventful. You two were up till midnight. Enough said. You wake up in Hux's arms, your forehead pressed to his, your legs tangled together with the sheets. He wakes up shortly after you. You two just stay there, staring into each other's eyes. After a few minutes, you hear a banging on Hux's door and scramble to cover yourselves. "Don't come in," Hux yells at whoever's on the other side of the door. After a minute, Ben storms in.

"Hux, have you seen (Y/N)--" He stops talking when he sees you two together. Ben scowls at you, and you scowl right back. "Do you two want to explain--"

"GET OUT," you and Hux yell, and Ben rolls his eyes, but leaves. You and Hux stare at the door for a few seconds, then turn to look at each other. "That went well," you say, and Hux laughs.

"It did," he says, and you two get up and prepare for work that day.
