See You Again(Anakin)

"Please don't be mad at me (Y/N)."

"Anakin...." You smile sadly up at your boyfriend. "I couldn't be mad at you if I tried." Anakin smiles at you and hugs you. "I've got to go Anakin. I can't stay here."

"Why not?"

"You're killing everyone Anakin. I can't.... The Jedi are the only family I've ever known."

"Don't you turn against me (Y/N)."

"I'm not Anakin. I just.... If I stay here and you don't kill me, someone else will."

"When are you leaving?"

"As soon as I can."

"If that was true, you would be gone already."

"I couldn't leave without saying goodbye." Anakin hugs you tighter.

"I wish you didn't have to leave," he whispers into your hair.

"I know Love. I know." Anakin lets you go and stares into your eyes.

"You can stay," he says. "You don't need to leave. You can stay with me, you can help me. I'm more powerful than the Chancellor. I can overthrow him, and then we'll rule the galaxy together (Y/N). We can make things the way we want them to be, we can make things better. You just have to stay." Tears well up in your eyes as you stare at your boyfriend.

"Oh Ani, you know I can't do that. You know I'm afraid of the Dark. I couldn't go down that path."

"Please (Y/N). I--I can't sleep without you. I need you." Tears escape your eyes and fall down your face. You hate seeing your boyfriend so helpless and lost.

"I'm sorry Ani, but I have to go. Please don't hate me. Please."

"I can't hate you (Y/N), no more than you can be mad at me."

"Thank you Anakin." You hug your boyfriend, and kiss him passionately. He returns your kisses, holding you tightly. When he lets go, your tears are all gone, and you stand strong. "I'll miss you Anakin."

"We'll see each other again (Y/N). I believe that." You smile at him. You pull a knife out of your belt and cut an inch of your Padawan braid off. You put the knife back in your belt, and take off the locket you were left with when your mother died. You put the piece of braid in the locket and fasten it around Anakin's neck.

"There," you say. "Now you'll have something to remember me by." Anakin smiles at you.

"I love you (Y/N)," he says, and fresh tears spring to your eyes. That was the first time he said 'I love you'.

"I love you too Anakin," you say. You hug him and press one last kiss to his mouth. You wave at him as you walk away. He waves back, and you smile at him before igniting your lightsaber and breaking into a run. You have to get as far away from Coruscant, as fast as you can. You make it to the escape pods without dying, and fly to Jakku.

Twenty or so years later, you are on a ship headed for an Imperial starship. You are in pretty bad shape. You pass out on the way there, and when you wake up, a figure wearing a mask is staring down at you. Darth Vader.

"(Y/N)," he says softly. You stare at him, fear in your eyes.

"How do you know my name," you ask. Vader removes a chain from his neck and hands it to you. It's a locket. You open it, and inside is a piece of (H/C) braid that is about an inch long. You glare at Darth Vader. "Where did you get this," you ask.

"You don't know?"

"It belonged to my boyfriend, Anakin...." You gasp. "Anakin? Is--is that you?"

"I told you we would see each other again." Tears fill your eyes, and you hug your boyfriend.

"I missed you Ani," you whisper

"I missed you too." You close your eyes and smile. Finally, you are reunited with the love of your life. It only took twenty years.
