Kill Me(Han Solo)

You stare out the window of the Millennium Falcon. Han walks up to you and puts an arm around your shoulders. You smile at him, and place a kiss on his cheek. "Han," you ask. "Can you promise me something?"

Han smiles at you. "Anything (Y/N)." You take a deep breath.

"Han, if Darth Vader catches me, will you kill me?" Han stiffens beside you.

"(Y/N)...."

"Han, I need you to make this promise. I know something Darth Vader doesn't, something that he'll use to his advantage if he finds out. So I need you to kill me if I'm captured, so he never finds out."

"What is it?"

"I'm Leia's sister. And Luke's. We're--we're Vader's children." Han frowns at you.

"How long have you known this?"

"Always. Ever since I was young, I knew, and my adopted father knew."

"You grew up on Dagobah, didn't you?"

"Yeah. Yeah I did. But that's beside the point. I need you to promise me you'll kill me if I get captured. Please Han? If you won't do it for me, do it for the galaxy, so we have a chance at winning this war." Han sighs unhappily.

"Fine. If Vader catches you, I'll kill you. I promise." You hug Han tightly and bury your face in his chest.

"Thank you," you whisper.

Weeks later, you are in the Cloud City, on Bespin. Lando betrayed you to Darth Vader, who is now holding you by the arm. Han's blaster is pointed at Vader's head. "Let her go, or I'll blast that bucket off your head," Han shouts.

"Han," you say softly. "You promised." Han stares at you, horror in his eyes.

"(Y/N), there has to be another way--"

"There isn't. You promised, Han. Do it." Han nods, taking a deep breath to steady himself. A tear slides down his cheek, and his hand starts shaking.

"I-- I love you (Y/N)." Somehow, you manage to keep yourself together.

"I love you too Han. I always have." You close your eyes. You hear Han's blaster fire, then flinch in pain. You open your eyes and look down to see a hole in your heart. You smile at Han. Thank you, you mouth at him, smiling. He smiles back, tears flowing down his cheeks. Goodbye, he mouths back, then the world goes dark.
