Nikki raced through the forest, R2 and Rey beside her. "Nikki, you have to get out of here!" Anakin hovered beside her, concern etched into his ghostly face.

"What do you think I'm trying to do?" Nikki screamed back. She needed to get to the Falcon. Starkiller base was coming apart fast, and she didn't know if Kylo Ran was following them or if he was even alive.

"Please hurry, Nikki," Anakin begged. "I can't lose you, too."

"I'm trying," Nikki sobbed, tears streaming down her face.

"Nikki, look out," Rey shrieked. A tree root seemed to materialize out of nowhere. Nikki tripped over it and hit her head. Then everything went black.

                                                                           Earlier That Day

"The map isn't complete." R2 beeped at Nikki. She shook her head.

"We don't know if we can trust Finn." Anakin sighed.

"Nikki, we need to get the map to someone who can help us. The galaxy needs my son." Nikki sighed back.

"Anakin, we don't know who Finn is."

"He's a good guy, Nikki."

"Well, I know he's lying about the Resistance. BB8 is helping him for whatever reason." Anakin rolled his eyes.

"We need to get you my lightsaber. I think it's on Takodana."

"Okay. How are we gonna get there?" Rey poked her head around the corner.

"Nikki, are you talking to yourself again?" Nikki rolled her eyes at her little sister.

"Sure, Rey." Nikki walked out of the room and onto the bridge.

"Where are we going," Finn asked.

"You wanted my help, you're getting it," Han answered. "We're going to Takodana to get your droid on a clean ship." Nikki smiled at Anakin.

"That was convenient," he muttered. Rey frowned.

"A clean ship?" She asked.

"Do you think it was an accident that Chewie and I found this ship? If we can track it, other people can, too."

"Let's go, then," Nikki said slightly impatiently. Han rolled his eyes.

"Alright, we're going to be out of hyperspace soon."

                                                                            Time Skip

"My lightsaber is this way," Anakin breathed. "I can sense it." Nikki followed him through a hallway and into a room with a small chest. "What are you doing?" Nikki spun around, heart hammering in her chest. Rey stood a few feet away from her, arms crossed. It looked like she'd been crying.

"Rey! I'm....uh....." Rey rolled her eyes and walked over to Nikki.

"Finn left." Nikki sighed, closing her eyes.

"Oh, I'm sorry." Rey shrugged, eyes dropping down to the chest.

"What's that," she asked. Nikki looked at the open chest.

"Anakin," she hissed.

"I'm sorry! I was in a hurry, and I thought you had her distracted." Nikki glared at him. Honestly, sometimes her Force guide was really annoying. Rey rolled her eyes.

"You still talk to yourself?" Nikki growled under her breath. Rey reached for the lightsaber.

"No!" Anakin yelled. Nikki grabbed the lightsaber at the same time Rey did. The girl's eyes rolled back into their heads, and they collapsed.

Nikki stood in a dark room. Someone was crying. She turned around and saw a crib with a baby in it. She walked over to the crib and stared at the baby. "Hey..... You," she whispered. "Shh. Don't cry. Everything's gonna be okay." She gently stroked the baby's hair, but the little girl only cried louder. Where were her parents?

In the corner of Nikki's eye, a column of blue light appeared. She turned and saw Anakin. His eyes were on the crib. Nikki breathed a sigh of relief. "Anakin. This baby is crying and I don't know where her parents are, and--" Anakin walked past Nikki, ignoring her.

"Hey, Nikki," he whispered, leaning over the crib. "My name is Anakin Skywalker. I'm here to care for you." He smiled down at baby Nikki, stroking her hair. "I'll never abandon you. Never." Tears welled up in Nikki's eyes.

"Don't try to catch the apple," Anakin instructed. Nikki blinked. She was outside, in the orchard she used to live by. Anakin was standing across from a three year old Nikki, holding an apple. "Focus on stopping it,on holding it in the air, okay?" Little Nikki nodded eagerly, hands up. Anakin tossed the apple at her. She glared at it, hands out, muscles tense. The Apple hit the ground and rolled to her feet. Nikki picked it up and threw it back to Anakin. They did the same thing over and over again, until Nikki finally managed to make the apple float in the air. Grown Nikki giggled and clapped her hands for her younger self.

"Nikki, you need to get out of here!"

"What do you think I'm trying to do?" They were running through a forest. Nikki, Anakin, Rey, and R2. Finn was over Rey's shoulders. Nikki felt very, very afraid.

Nikki sat up, breathing heavily. Rey was hugging herself, staring at Maz, a look of horror on her face. "What was that," she asked.

"The lightsaber. It belonged to Luke Skywalker, and before that, his father, and now it calls to you two." Rey stood up.

"I never want to touch that thing again." With that, she ran out of the room. Nikki picked up the lightsaber and stood up.

"Just as well. It belongs to you," Anakin stated. Nikki stood up and hugged him. "What's this?" Nikki hurried her face in his chest.

"I love you, Anakin. Thank you for everything." Anakin hugged her tightly.

"I love you, too, Nikki."

                                                                    Time Skip

Nikki held her lightsaber up. "Stay away from my sister." Kylo Ren laughed.

"I don't want your sister. You have everything I desire." He ignited his lightsaber. "Now, give me the lightsaber and the map, and I'll let you go free."

"You'll have to take it." Nikki swung her lightsaber at Kylo Ren. He blocked her strike with his. They fought like that. Then Kylo Ran cut Nikki's hand. She screamed. The lightsaber flew out of her hand. Kylo Ran turned to the lightsaber. He held out his hand. "No," Nikki sobbed. Anakin held her hurt hand in his.

"Come on, Nikki. You need to get it back. You have to get up." Nikki shook her head, crying. Tears welled up in Anakin's eyes. "Please, Nikki. You need to be strong. Come on, Nikki! I can't lose you!" The lightsaber rose into the air and flew past Kylo Ran. Into Rey's outstretched hand. She ran to Kylo Ran and attacked him. Anakin took advantage of the distraction and wrapped up Nikki's hand. Nikki calmed down and watched Anakin.

"You know, for a ghost, your bedside manner is warm and comforting. Anakin smiled and laughed.

"Only for you, Nikki. Only for you."
