"There was poison on the knife Miss (L/N). You are not going to live very long," the med droid says.

"How much time do I have left," you ask, voice so faint almost no one can hear you.

"You have half an hour left to live, at most," the med droid responds. You sigh and close your eyes. Half an hour. "Is there anyone you would like to leave a message for?"

"Obi Wan. Tell him...tell him to come here. Tell him we don't have very long and I need him here."

"Alright Miss (L/N). I will tell him." The med droid leaves, and you relax. You slowly drift off....

"(Y/N)! (Y/N)! Wake up! Please wake up!" You open your eyes slowly and smile.

"Obi Wan," you say.

"Yes my love, it's me. I'm here." You stare into his eyes. You loved doing that. His eyes were beautiful, more beautiful than any eyes you had ever seen. You told this to Obi Wan on a regular basis. He responded by asking if you had ever looked in a mirror. "How much time do you have," Obi Wan asks. You check the clock.

"Twenty minutes at most," you respond. A tear rolls down Obi Wan's cheek, and you wipe it away. "Don't cry for me Obi Wan. Please."

"I can't help it (Y/N). I have less than twenty minutes left with you."

"Obi Wan...you can't grief for long, you know that. You have a job to do."

"What if I left the Order?"

"Obi Wan, don't be crazy. You've worked so hard to get where you are today. There are people counting on you. Anakin needs his master." Obi Wan nods, and you place a hand on his cheek. "I'll always love you Obi Wan. Always."

"And I you," he responds, and you smile. Obi Wan leans over and kisses you on the forehead. You grab the front of his robe and pull him into a kiss. When you break it off, he straightens up and blushes. You lean back and close your eyes, smiling. Obi Wan looks over at your heart monitor. Beep. Beep. Beep. Your heart beat grows slower, until the heart monitor shows a straight line. Obi Wan takes your hand and presses it to his cheek, tears falling down his face. His mind flashes through memories of the last few years.

***

The moment he first saw you. You looked amazing, almost fully grown, long (H/C) loose, with a Padawan braid on the side, wide (E/C) eyes gleaming, cheeks pink from the wind that had been blowing. You two were just Padawans, but he felt a special connection to you.

***

Training together. You had always bested him, even when he tried his hardest. It was humiliating, but you always helped him up and mended his wounded pride.

***

Dancing under the light of the stars on Coruscant. You were a good dancer, and had taught him how to dance. His eyes never left yours, and yours never left his. When you danced, there was nothing in the world except you two, the stars, and the wind.

***

You comforting him after he returned from the mission Qui Gon found Anakin on. You had both become fully fledged Jedi , and he even got a Padawan on his first day, but he was still sad. Qui Gon had died, and you had both admired him. You had held him tightly as he cried.

***

Training Padawans together. Your Padawan had already become a Jedi, though she was a year or two younger than Anakin, who was still training. She had always beaten Anakin when you trained your Padawans together, and after a while you had to stop training them together because your Padawan was so far ahead of Anakin.

***

Your first kiss. He had been gone for about a month, and had almost died. When he got out of the hospital, you ambushed him with questions. He pressed a kiss to your mouth to make you shut up. You had both blushed, and hadn't spoken of it later, but you kissed him after you two had danced on the balcony that night.

***

Doing romantic little things when you two were alone. Stargazing, watching the sun rise or set, and sitting together in a meadow were a few of your favorites.

***

Your last mission together. You had been fighting off some assassins that had come for Padme. One stabbed you in the stomach with a knife. Obi Wan had carried you to the infirmary.

***

Your last three weeks. For awhile, it looked like you were getting better. Your wound was healing, and you were going to get out of the hospital after a week. Then you got sick, and kept getting worse until you were to weak to sit up on your own. It hurt him to see you like this. You both spent as much time as possible together.

***

Now you were dead. Obi Wan didn't want to believe it. Someone tapped him on the shoulder, and he turned around. "We're here to take away the body of (Y/N) (L/N). Is this her body," a young woman asks.

"Yes," Obi Wan says. "What are you going to do with her?"

"Burn her body."

"It that case, I'll take care of it."

"I can't let you do that. The type of poison that was on the knife will go into the atmosphere with the smoke created from burning her body. For the safety of everyone in Coruscant, I have to burn the body." Obi Wan nods.

"Can I at least come with you," he asks. The woman smiles at him.

"Alright," she says.

"Thank you ma'am." Obi Wan picks up you body and carries your body to the facility where it will be burned, and watches from behind glass as the flames consume it. After a bit, he feels a hand on his shoulder, and when he looks up, your ghost is smiling down at him. He smiles back, and you place a kiss on his forehead.
