You followed hundreds of stormtroopers that were flooding into the docking bay. You sighed impatiently as you waited to get through the door. You turned to the stormtrooper next to you. "What's this all about," you asked. He looked excited. He was bouncing lightly on his toes, and though you couldn't see his face, you had a feeling he was staring impatiently at the door.
"Haven't you heard," the stormtrooper asked. "They caught FN-2187 and some Resistance girl." Fear spiked through you. Your hands began to shake. FN-2187 was your boyfriend--sort of. He left the First Order, and you resented him for leaving, but most of all you still loved him. You didn't want to see him hurt.
Finally, it was your turn to file into the docking bay. FN-2187 was there, with a girl you didn't recognize. You felt jealousy spike through you. This girl couldn't be with FN-2187 now, could she?
You watched General Hux walk up to FN-2187. You flinched when the general slapped your sort of boyfriend. General Hux smiled, and FN-2187 glared up at him. "Well done Phasma," Hux said. Then DJ walked forward. You eyes narrowed. He had betrayed the First Order a few times before.
"Your ship and payment, as promised," Captain Phasma said to DJ. The girl struggled in the grip of the stormtrooper holding her down.
"You lying snake!" she yelled.
"We got caught," DJ explained. "I c-cut a deal." An officer walked up to General Hux.
"Sir, we checked the information from the thief. We ran a de-cloaking scan and, sure enough, thirty Resistance transports have just launched from the cruiser." General Hux smiled.
"He told us the truth. Will wonders never cease? Are our weapons ready?"
"Ready now, sir."
"Fire at will." Your eyes widened under your helmet. You tried to move forward, but you felt a hand on your wrist.
"Don't," the stormtrooper murmured to you. "It'll just confirm their suspicions." General Hux and Captain Phasma had a feeling you would turn traitor, seeing as you were close to FN-2187 before he left. They watched you closely. You did everything you could to prove you were loyal to the First Order. So you just watched as FN-2187 struggled against his captor.
"You murdering bastard!" FN-2187 screamed at DJ.
"Oh, t-take it easy Big-F," DJ said. "They blow you up today, you blow them up tomorrow. This is just business."
"You're wrong," FN-2187 said softly.
"Maybe," DJ answered. Another officer walked into the docking bay.
"Sir, the Resistance cruiser's preparing to jump to lightspeed."
"It's empty," General Hux responded. "They're just trying to pull our attention away. Pathetic. Keep your fire on the transports." Captain Phasma stepped forward.
"Execution by blaster is too good for them," she said. "Let's make this hurt." The grip on your wrist tightened.
"Whatever you do, don't scream," the other trooper murmured. Two executioners stepped forward. FN-2187 and the girl were forced to the ground. They rose their weapons above their heads. "Finn," the girl breathed. She was terrified, and it showed on her face.
"On my command," Captain Phasma said.
"She's running away," an officer sneered. Somehow, you knew he was talking about whoever was piloting the cruiser.
"No, she isn't," General Hux realized. His eyes widened. "No!" he screamed. "Fire on that cruiser!"
"Execute!" Captain Phasma ordered. You screamed as the executioners swung their weapons down. Then the cruiser hit the Supremacy. You blacked out for a brief moment. When you came to, the executioners were dead, the stormtrooper holding your wrist was dead, and most of the other stormtroopers were dead. The room was on fire. FN-2187 was standing up. You pulled your blaster out of your belt and pointed it at FN-2187. He saw you across the ship. He stared at you. Your hands started shaking. You held your ground. FN-2187 started walking toward you.
"Don't come any closer," you ordered. He ignored you, and kept walking. "Traitor," you said, voice breaking. "You're a traitor. FN-2187, what are you doing?" He stopped in front of you. Your blaster was touching his chest. You stared up at FN-2187, into his eyes, and he stared down at your helmet. "FN-2187, stay back. Don't--What are you doing? Stay back!" FN-2187 reached forward and placed his hands on the sides of your helmet. He lifted it off your head, and tossed it aside, revealing your chin length (H/C) hair and terrified (E/C) eyes.
"My name's Finn now," he said softly. You nodded, lowering your eyes. Finn took your chin in one hand and tilted your head up so you were looking at him. "Poe Dameron gave me a name," Finn said, "and it changed my life. I'm going to change your life now." He stared at you for a moment. "(Y/N)," he said at last. "I'm going to call you (Y/N)." Your eyes welled up with tears. Your blaster clattered to the floor. Finn placed a soft, gentle kiss on your mouth, and you broke. You let out a small strangled sob, and Finn pulled you closer. You buried your face in his chest, and grabbed his jacket, the fabric soft.
"I missed you," you whispered.
"I love you," Finn whispered back. "I love you more than anything in the galaxy." You smiled into his chest.
"I love you too." Finn let you go and smiled down at you.
"Come on," he said. "Let's get out of here." You smiled back at him and took his hand.
"Lead the way."
