Acid To The Heart (poem)

84 13 16

Like the screech of nails on a      blackboard,
That splits and cracks your nerves apart,
Your eternal ,everlasting, excruciating love
Is like acid to my heart.

You say you're here to save me,
But you force me to bear your violent art,
Your dark ,deteriorating, drowning trust
Is like acid to my heart.

Your thundering hurricanes never bring any rainbow after,
All they do is pierce my dreams with the sharpest dart.
Your shattering, devastating, suffocating words
Are like acid to my heart.

You know it too, but yet you shove me too far,
There's only so much that can fill my dented cart.
Your sadistic amusement for my almost empty soul
Is like acid to my heart.

Back when I thought I knew you,
I wished that our blissful flight won't ever depart.
But now, when it has crash landed, with me wounded,
I know that you are acid to my heart.

One last time, not a goodbye but a memory,
Remember all you did to me sweetheart.
For there will be no more return of me in your realm
But  only acid for your heart.
