A Mother's Beautiful Blues(poem)

You listen to everything:
From the everlasting blabber,
To the frustrating screams and cries.
From the constant complaining chatter,
To the sound of silent sighs.

You see everything:
From the overjoyed mask,
To the tear stained melodrama.
From the procrastinated task,
To the biting-back karma.

You feel everything:
From the scrap on my knee,
To the cuts on my arm.
From the fleeting winning glee,
To the slap on my cheek from your palm.

You say everything:
From the look of your emotive eyes,
To the sway of your taut posture.
From the way you let me roll my own dice,
To the way to wipe my eyes from leaking moisture.

You mend everything:
From the unconsciously broken pot,
To the consciously shredded heart.
From the strained distance caused by temper hot,
To my forgotten and torn scribbling you call art.

But you, you never let yourself fall apart:
Even when hurtful words make you bleed,
Or when experienced fear eats your insides.
Even when exhaustion takes you far from sleep,
Or when you are just not ready for life's another ride.

And now, i am stuck between everything:
While entering your worn-out shoes,
And regretting all my backward mistakes,
All the while learning ' A mother's beautiful blues',
And dancing between 'seas of lava' and 'piece of cakes'.

A/N: Hey guys. So obviously, this poem is dedicated to my Momzy (and all the mom's out there). Since it's her birthday on 6th of May, this is a small gift for her (even though she is not on wattpad, I'll make her read it). Love you Mum!

Anyways, tell me your views on it. And please turn the star golden if you like it.
