Home Is Bathroom (poem)

A day of mine begins like this,
I enter the bathroom to take a piss,
But soon  fall asleep on the toilet  seat,
To my lulling  comfortable  heartbeat.

For me,
Home  is in the bathroom.

A shower head for a spotlight,
For the worst  bathroom singer night,
The shampoo bottle for mic drop,
Slippery tiles, a floor for Hip-hop.

For me,
Home is in the bathroom.

Music playing from the phone,
Of singers famous  and unknown,
For each emotion of the day,
As i find my anchor to stay.

For me,
Home is in the bathroom.

Although  it's  my scare place,
Where cockroaches i have to face,
But it's  also my  turmoil untangler,
As i fight against  the emotional strangler.

For me,
Home is in the bathroom.

More tears felt by the dry floor,
Than the soft pillow core,
More silent screams swallowed down,
Even if I'm  naked or in a pretty gown.

For me,
Home is in the bathroom.

It envolpes  me in safety,
Clears my mind of the debts so hefty,
That leaves me drained of my strength,
As it leeches off me for days at length.

For me,
Home is in the bathroom.
