Rainbow And Monochrome (poem)

He talks rainbow,
And I talk monochrome.

He walks miles like the world around him throbs and thrives,
I walk steps and I stop to ponder lives.

He boasts of his love like it's his pride,
I boast about him being by my side.

He has come towards me with arms wide open,
I go towards him with thoughts half broken.

He is there, but isn't at the same time,
I am here, still waiting for the phone to chime.

He parted ways, to walk on a crowded road,
I still walk between the valleys of memories old,

He comes back with friendship in hand,
I am still alone in deserted love land.

The rainbow still glimmers
And the monochrome still charms,
But their story is incomplete,
Unwritten between two palms.
