Pride Soars Free (poem)

The rainbow wept in the closed armoir,
For it's  pride was captured  by societal bar,
No pride brought no colours out,
No matter what rainbow screamed or shout.

The pride was trapped  in a piece of parchment,
The code of which was freedom entrapment,
An ancient law, firm and dying,
That kept little pride from flying.

Forcing sweet rainbow to unchoose what's  natural,
To fit in the boundary  marked  social,
To set pride free,  decided rainbow,
In moving winds,  let the parchment blow.

A number marked the miles to strive,
377 stings from a behive,
But a new age aura burned the code,
And set alight a bright new road.

Now the rainbow dances under the flying pride
Loving, Giving, Bonding, Trusting, nothing  to hide,
Broken doors of the crumbling  closet weaving,
A world open to accepting  and perceiving.

A/N:  Hello friends,  celebrate karlo! (translation : let's  celebrate).  So yesterday,  Indian Penal Code was reinstated with new norms.  It has decriminalized LGBT+ community.  This  was a really big success,  since our cultural diversity is a little not-so-adoptive of this. But the people  will come around!

So this poem was to all you guys  out there!

Lovelove!
