"Ooofff." I settled up against the wall of the van. I looked up at a bare light bulb hanging from the ceiling of the van. "Well, I guess on the bright side, at least there's light."

Cameron rolled his eyes. "I can't believe this." "We've been kidnapped."

"Well, to be fair, you kind of got us into this."

"Me!" he yelled. "How did I get us into this?"

"Well, I mean, if I were going to kidnap somebody from an LA party, the 18 year old fanfic writer probably wouldn't be my first choice."

Cameron rolled his eyes. "Maybe they were entranced by your beautiful brown eyes."

I winked at him. "I think my best feature is my long dark brown hair." I went to flip my hair. "Oh right, my hands are bound behind my back."

I fell on my side. "God, this van smells like old beer."

Cameron laughed. "I would help you up but my hands are bound and the van is not the steadiest ride."

The light bulb sparked and went out.

"Great now we're kidnapped, in a van that stinks and it's dark." I scoffed. "You better not leave me alone in this Cameron."

"Wouldn't leave you alone for the world."

I smiled. "Always a charmer." "No wonder the girls are all crazy about you."

I don't really know exactly how long we were in that van for, but the bumpy ride in the dark seemed to last for hours. Cameron eventually fell over to, and we laid there staring at each other. Neither one of us spoke the rest of the ride. It had sunk in that we were, in fact, not going to be going back to our hotels that night, or probably the night after that.

Eventually the van came to a halt after driving down what seemed like a dirt road. We heard the driver and another person get out of the driver's cab of the van and heard them walk around to the back. I tensed up as I heard them unlock the doors.

I squinted as a flashlight was shone in my face. A young woman stepped into the van and wrapped her arm around mine. "Stand up!" She said harshly. A man stepped in and did the same to Cameron. We were lead away from the van and to a small building. It looked like an oversized shed, but there were lights on inside. I held my breath as the woman led me into the building, I was scared as to what might, or might not, be inside.

Inside was a small living area and doors leading to two rooms. There was a small kitchenette in the living area. The whole building smelled a little like pine shavings and the paint on the walls looked like it had been done in a hurry. The woman threw me onto the couch and walked back out of the building. The man came in a few seconds later with Cameron. The man pulled a pocket knife from his back pocket and cut Cameron's hands free.

I sat in panic as he walked up to me. "Relax, I'm only cutting the ropes off your hands." He cut me free and walked back to the door. "Don't try any funny business, don't try to run away." "The door locks from the outside and as you've probably noticed all of the windows have bars on the inside and outside." "That was Hannah's idea." He rubbed his chin. "Trust me, you don't want to run away." "We're in the middle of the Nevada desert and it gets to be 110 during the day." "You don't want to be wandering around in that." He paused. "Anyway, just follow Hannah's rules and she says you'll get food." He opened the door. "Good night." He shut the door and we heard four locks click.

I looked at Cameron. "Cameron, I'm scared."
