My Other Half *1st book of the Other Half Trilogy*

~ Ch. 4 ~

                             Anakin's POV

    "Wake up!" I woke up to my old Master Obi-wan waking me up. "Isn't there someone that you are supposed to get today? It's already 10 we're leaving at noon and I'm sure she is up by now. So, get ready and go get her at 10:30." Obi-wan said. "Why so early?" I asked him, sitting up. "I heard it's a walk to get to her house." Obi-wan said then left the room. I sighed and got ready. When I was all done I looked at the time. 10:20. "Might as well, go now, it could take awhile to find her house." I said to myself then left.

    It took a good 40 minutes to find her house. I had to ask numerous people to were the Bonterris' live and the all kept giving me different directions. I had to go by air finally to get to her place. It was a really big and nice house, well, they are the richest family on this planet, that's to be expected for them to have a big house. I walked up to the door, knocked, waited for about a minute and Mrs. Bonterri herself opened the door and I bowed my head. "Senator Bonterri, good morning. I think you know why I am here?" I asked her as she let me into the living room. "Yes, I do. I shall go get her." Mrs. Bonterri left and Ahsoka's brother walked in.

    "If I hear that you or anyone else at this Temple have hurt Ahsoka in anyway I swear on my life that I will hunt you down and kill you. That's not a promise, it's a fact." Lux said and we heard people coming down the steps. I looked up and my heart skipped a beat. Ahsoka looked amazing.( AN-to the right ---->>>> idk how to explain the outfit)

    "Have you made your decision?" I asked. "Yes, I will go with you and Obi-wan to the Jedi Temple and train as a Jedi." Ahsoka said and her mother handed her her bag. I looked at her, quizzically. "That's all you're bringing?" I asked her. "Yes." she said and hugged her mother and Lux. "Promise me you'll keep in touch over Holonet or something?" Lux asked her. " I promise." Ahsoka said. "Ready to go then, Skyguy?" she asked me. "How did you know my last name has 'sky' in it?" I said as we left the house and headed to the ship.

    Once we got to the ship, Master Obi-wan greeted us. "Before you get on board are you sure about this?" Obi-wan asked Ahsoka. "Yes, I am." she said. Obi-wan and I walked in front of her, showing her to her quarters. "Something seems off about her today." I told Obi-wan. "Like what?" Obi-wan asked me. "She kept her head down the whole time on the way here." I told him. "Maybe she's nervous about meeting the council." Obi-wan said. "Maybe. But, will they let her train?" I asked him, remembering that they almost didn't let me train because of my age. But, then Master Qui-gon said that he'd teach me, then he died and Obi-wan taught me. " I'm sure they will. They let me train you." Obi-wan said. " If they don't then I will train her. Just like how Master Qui-gon was going to train me, then you trained me." I said. "Now, look at you, you are a Master Jedi, the youngest one so far." Obi-wan said, chuckling.

    We heard a gasp and Obi-wan and I turned around to see Chancellor Amidala, looking at Ahsoka. I stepped up. "Chancellor. Is there a problem?" I said, bowing slightly. "You found her. You found the Princess of Shili!" the Chancellor said and some Senators came over to look at who the Chancellor was talking about. "Chancellor, that Princess has been lost for years. How would she......" Obi-wan started to say then trailed off. " It all makes sense now." Obi-wan said. "Did your mother tell you anything before you left?" Obi-wan said, looking at Ahsoka. "Yes...." Ahsoka said, not looking up from the ground. "What did she tell you?" I asked her, putting my human hand on her shoulder, she sighed and looked up at me and then to the Chancellor and the other Senators that had been behind him, all looking at her. "Yes, I am the Princess of Shili. My mother, Mrs. Bonterri, adopted me when I was an infant. I am also a Jedi." Ahsoka said. There were gasps from the crowd and I could sense Ahsoka getting nervous. "You are a Jedi? How is that possible? Surely you would have to have been known about when you were four years old." a Senator said. "No one ever came for me." Ahsoka said, simply. All while this was happening my mind could only process one thing. 'My other half is royalty. Lost royalty.'

                             Ahsoka's POV

    I was hoping upon hope to avoid anything like this conversation that was going on. Mostly me talking and other people listening. I felt comforted with Anakins' hand on my shoulder. I explained some things and I had to try hard not to tear up. I don't understand why this conversation is making me want to cry, maybe it was because of some certain questions that they were asking me. " I think that is enough questions for now." Anakin said, taking my hand and leading me away from the Senators and the Chancellor. Obi-wan stayed behind to make sure they didn't try to follow Anakin and I to where I'd be staying for the ride.

    "Here you are, it's not a long voyage but, you should still have a place to yourself until we get to Corusaunt." Anakin told me, I nodded. "Are you alright?" Anakin asked me as I was setting my bag down and we were in the room that I was using. "Yeah, I'm fine, what makes you think I'm not?' I asked him. " I could sense your nervousness radiating off of you." Anakin told me, sitting beside me. " I wasn't nervous." I told him. "Yes you were." Anakin said. I sighed. "There's no keeping anything from you, is there?" I asked him, he laughed. "No, Snips. You can't keep anything from me." Anakin said. "That sucks." I said, Anakin laughed again. So that's how we spent the rest of the trip to Corusaunt, just talking and getting to know each other better. Yup, there's no mistaking it. Anakin is my other half. Oh boy.

[ well, YA!!!! I managed to get another one in!! YA!!!! uh oh!!!! the cat's out of the bag now! What's going to happen now?
