I sat opposite her. My eyes shifted from her features to the guitar. I focused on strumming the perfect chords, singing the perfect song to the perfect girl.
"I saw you in the beginning,
Hard outside, sweet filling
Eyes that hide all your feelings,
Every look a different meaning,
Endless touches still unreeling
All your kisses got me kneeling
Got me seeing
There's a heart your stealing
A heart that never used to be there
A heart that never used to care
A heart that was beaten bare
A heart I never used to share

So love me like I love you
Love me like the love songs say your meant to
Make me feel the shivers- me to you
I wanna smile, I wanna laugh, I wanna place where I can go. And you once told me that was in your arms, watching the river flow.

Now you're in my life,
All the wrong things seem right.
I can handle all the strife
Nothing scares me, not the night
I know now that you are mine,
And one day you'll be my wife.
God, I can't wait for the sight.
There's no way to fast track time.
Though you're bitter like a lime.
You're so needed, you're so kind.
And it seems you're one to shine.

So love me like I love you
Love me like the love songs say your meant to
Make me feel the shivers- me to you
I wanna smile, I wanna laugh, I wanna place where I can go. And you once told me that was in your arms, watching the river flow.
Ooo ooo ooo oooo
Watching the river flow.
Ooo ooo ooo oooo
Watching the river flow.
Watching... the river...flow."
I played the last chord without hesitation and the room fell into a stony silence. I hadn't looked up through out the whole song. I couldn't bring my self too. I'd get distracted by her. Her eyes, her lips, her face and I'd mess up.
"Montgomery," she finally spoke. "Ryan that was beautiful." I smiled and met her eyes. "I-I-You-"
"Who would've thought I'd see the day when Hayley Rhys was speechless."
"Hey, I'm only human." She pulled me down into the bed with her after I placed my guitar by my draws.
"Thank you." She whispered.
"For what?"
"For making me feel-" she stopped to find the right word "that." My eye focused on her lips when she talked. "For making me feel beyond special."
She smirked and pulled me into a kiss.
"Wait." I pulled away. "This sex thing, was it a one time occurrence or-"
She laughed.
"You and I both know it was to good too only happen once."
"I was hoping you would say that." And I brought my lips crashing into hers.
