Act 9: The Crimson

Shino had just witness the horror that is Dr. Nitta's "personal collection" when suddenly, Shino heard Dr. Nitta loudly banging at the door.

Shino quickly ran near the door to stop Dr. Nitta from getting, when her phone began to ring. Shino checked who was calling her: it was Mayuka. And from the looks of things, she had sent a plethora of e-mails and missed calls as well. She knew something wasn't right. Shino then decided to answer Mayuka's call.

"Shino? Oh, thank goodness, you finally answered!" Said Mayuka.

"Mayu! I need your help! I can't escape from the doctor's office! Dr. Nitta's gone insane!" Shino replied.

"That's exactly what I was about to tell you! Dr. Nitta's a psycho! Sources claimed that he had murdered a bunch of girls and took their belly buttons off their skin!" Said Mayuka. "You gotta get out of there now before he gets you!"

"I can't, Mayu! I'm locked in his office and I can't see any doors or windows in here other than the one that I went from!" Shino replied. "Please come here and save me! I don't know what to-"

"Ah, there you are!" Said a familiar voice.

Hearing the voice from behine her, Shino glances behind her. As it turns out, Dr. Nitta had found a way to open the door. He had a key on one hand, a scalpel on the other, and a look in his face best described as a combination of sadism and arousal.

Shino, shocked and scared, accidentally dropped her phone as she tried to run away, but only found herself in a dead end. Dr. Nitta proceeded to corner her, until Shino proceeds to rake his face with her nails, after which, she quickly ran again.

Before, she was able to make an exit, Dr. Nitta ran behind her and proceeded to pull her by the back of her collar. Dr. Nitta then threw her down, took the syringe filled with the black drug from his pockets, and tried to mounted Shino.

However, Shino proceeded to kick Dr. Nitta in the face. As she got up, she proceeded to grab the syringe out of Dr. Nitta's hand and tried to throw it away, but Dr. Nitta stopped her by grabbing her wrist and squeezing it, causing Shino to lose grip as he nearly broke Shino's right wrist. Dr. Nitta then gets his syringe back and throws Shino back to the clinic.

-Dr. Nitta's Clinic 3:21 PM-

Shino managed to stay standing after Dr. Nitta dragged her back to the clinic. The first thing that Shino did upon entering was to look for her jacked in order to fetch her scissors

Behind her, Dr. Nitta was extending his hand in order to grab Shino again. Shino saw that she was behind the door, and proceeded to slam the door to trap Dr. Nitta's arm, causing Dr. Nitta to scream in pain. She then slammed the door again, and again.

She then slammed the door for a fourth time, where the sheer force of the door slam, as well as Dr. Nitta's fingers being on the wrong place, caused all of the fingers in his left hand saves for his thumb to be cut off. Dr. Nitta began to scream at the top of his lung in immense pain. Shino, meanwhile, saw this as an opportunity to buy some time to fetch her scissors, which she managed to do.

Withstanding the pain as much as he can, Dr. Nitta proceeded to open the door with his remaining right hand. He then proceeded to grab a surgical scalpel and tried to stab Shino multiple times with it. Unfortunately for him, Shino managed to dodge all his attacks successfully.

Shino dodged and dodged Dr. Nitta's attacks, until she was stabbed at her left palm. She proceeded to pull out the scalpel, but when she saw her own blood coming out from the wound, her vision began to go blurry and she was struck with another splitting migraine. Just like last time...

"No... Not this again... Agh!" Said Shino, clutching her head in pain. "My head... It hurts...! Ahhhhh! AHHHHHHHHH!!!"

Thinking that Shino was fully incapacitated, Dr. Nitta chuckled to himself as he goes near Shino in order to finish his little operation. However, what happened next surprised even him.

Shino's eyes turned from black to red and she sported a feral look in her face. Seemingly ignoring the injuries in her left hand, Shino proceeded to grab Dr. Nitta with her left hand and stabbed him using the scissors in her right, causing Dr. Nitta to scream a bloodcurdling scream of pain.

Shino stabbed and stabbed Dr. Nitta, whose hubris instantly turned into fear at this point, until he fell on the ground. Unsatisfied, Shino proceeded to mount Dr. Nitta and continued her stabbing barrage toward an incapacitated Dr. Nitta.

Shino stabbed nearly every part of his body with her scissors. From his face, to both of his eyes, and eventually his chest. She then managed to stab Dr. Nitta's heart, which caused to spray all over the place. Dr. Nitta eventually died of blood loss from all of the stab wounds he had suffered at the hands of Shino. Amidst her continued attacks, a small fly came out of one of Dr. Nitta's nostrils and flew away.

[music stops]

Shino continued to stab the already lifeless corpse of Dr. Nitta until her blood rage subsided, after which she took a breather, before getting a good look at what she just did. Needless to say, she was utterly horrified. She touched her face, only to see that it was full of Dr. Nitta's blood, which shocked her even more.

"What... have I... done...?" Said Shino.

It was at this point that Mayuka arrived at the scene, after getting a distress call from Shino. The first thing she saw at the clinic was Dr. Nitta's corpse, with grotesque cuts and wounds all over his body. She also saw the purple collar on his neck.

"What the...?" Said Mayuka.

Mayuka continued to search for her friend, until she found her sitting alone on one corner, trembling in fear and drenched with blood all over her.

"Shino! Are you OK?" Said Mayuka.

"No... don't come near me...!" Shino replied.

Mayuka then proceeded to crouch and hug her girlfriend to calm her down.

"It's okay, Shino... Your friend is here now..." Said Mayuka.

"But... I killed him... In cold blood..." Shino replied, tears falling down her face. "I'm a monster..."

"You won't be for much longer, trust me..." Said Mayuka. "Let's go to our house for now..."

Mayuka then stood Shino up and carried her by her arm. Shino then pointed at something on the other room.

"Wait... Mayu..." Said Shino.

"What is it, Shino?" Mayuka replied.

Shino pointed at her mobile phone, which was left lying on the floor the whole time. Mayuka grabbed the phone and eventually left clinic with Shino by her side.

-Alleyway 3:51 PM-

To not get unwanted attention, Mayuka decided to use the many alleyways around town to carry Shino to Mayuka's home. While walking, Mayuka was thinking of something.

"We need to put a stop to this nonsense game." Mayuka thought. "Or else... Shino..."

Mayuka takes a glance at Shino beside her, tired and out of breath from all the fighting she had to do.

"Just keep on holding on, Shino..." Mayuka thought. "After this game is over, everything will be back the way it was... At least, I hope so..."
