Act 32: The Offer

While the three girls were dealing with the other participants, Yuichi had been using the same time to reflect on his past behaviors and change himself into someone new.

SUNDAY

-Hideout Bathroom 11:10 PM-

The first thing that he did to reflect these new changes was to cut his shoulder length, unkempt hair into something much more tidy. Yuichi dislikes haircuts in general, but right now, but right now, he has to do so in order to make a brand new start.

Yuichi sat on the bathroom, staring at a pair of scissors that he got from Jun. He thinks to himself whether or not he should go on with it.

After a while of thinking, Yuichi eventually made his decision. He takes the scissors, and proceeds to trim the longer parts of his hair.

Yuichi trimmed and trimmed until he got his desired length: a short, slightly messy, but still tidy enough for him.

"There. That should do it..." Said Yuichi.

Yuichi then dusts off some excess hair away from his body as he takes off his clothes and goes to take a little shower.

-Hideout Room 11:46 AM-

After a few minutes, Yuichi gets out of the shower, goes toward his room and starts to get dressed.

He wore his usual blue jeans, but instead of the usual orange t-shirt, he decided to wear instead a plain white t-shirt and black denim jacket.

After staring at himself at the mirror a few times, Yuichi leaves the hideout and proceeds to his next stop: the cemetery.

-Cemetery 1:23 AM-

Today marks the death anniversary of Yuichi's late sister Yukari. Every year he pays a visit to his sister's grave. This year is no different.

After over an hour of travel, Yuichi reaches the cemetery. Upon entering walks around the cemetery until he found Yukari's grave. From there, he laid down flowers and some incense near her grave.

Yuichi then took a pocket lighter to light up the incense. But before he could light it up, Yuichi was interrupted by a familiar voice.

"Such a shame that a young, innocent soul had to leave this world at such a tender age..." Said a male voice. "My sincerest condolences."

Yuichi knew he had heard that voice somewhere before. He then turns around to see a face that's just as familiar, if not even more so.

It was Ren Hong, of the Red Lion Triad. The same man that Yuichi was supposed to deliver the contraband to during that fateful day.

"Long time no see, Yuichi Onodera." Said Ren.

Overcome with rage, Yuichi quickly grabs Ren by the collar, and pins him towards the nearest tree. He then raises his fist and points it toward Ren.

"Whoa, whoa! Easy there, buddy!" Said Ren. "I didn't come here for unnecessary violence! Quite the opposite, in fact!"

"How did you recognize me?" Yuichi replied.

"I don't mean to brag, but as a high ranking official of the Red Lion, I can recognize the smell of a White Lion from miles away." Said Ren. "Even former ones, in fact."

After staring for a while, Yuichi then lowers his fist and releases Ren from his grasp.

"So what do you want then?" Said Yuichi.

Ren dusts up his suit before he continues.

"Well... I've heard that you and Miss Lau had a little... argument." Said Ren.
