Act 35: The Gunshots

"Wait for it..." Said Ryuto. "NOW!"

With those words, Ryuto quickly pulled out an M-16 from the camping bag that they brought in the stadium and proceeded to fire it straight upwards.

The gunshot sounds caused a huge riot to ensue in the middle of the Ded one-night-only concert that was taking place that night. Everyone in the stadium panicked, including the band members themselves, who suddenly stopped playing and quickly ran off backstage.

Some spectators quickly ran away from the stadium as fast as they could, while some hid behind their seats in an attempt to shield themselves.

It was then that Ryuto and Fuuka their true intentions, and proceeded to gun down everyone in the stadium, leaving no survivors as they could.

Armed with their guns and a whole load of ammunition, Ryuto and Fuuka proceeded to gun down every single person in sight. The enthusiasm of the crowd is all but gone, replaced with screams of anguish and terror as Ryuto and Fuuka proceeded to shoot everyone on sight.

Upon hearing the gunshots fired, Shino, Mayuka and Jun quickly ran down to the stage. Ryuto and Fuuka were situated near the back row, and they knew that if they opted for the upper route, then they would end up getting killed as well.

With their lives on the line and their arms behind their head to shield themselves from all the bullets, the three quickly ran down in search for a safe spot.

All three of them were in a panic, but none moreso that Shino, who made her fear all too clear.

"Wh-What's happening?" Said Shino, her voice shaking in fear.

"I thought stuff like this only happened in America!" Mayuka added.

"Just shut the fuck up and keep on running!" Jun replied. "We don't wanna get shot by those lunatics, now would we?"

The three of them continued to run, passing through all the bedlam that ensued in the concert stadium turned massacre site. Gunshots fired, screams echoing, dead bodies lying everywhere. The gunshots stopped for a while, as Ryuto and Fuuka ran out of bullets, but all it took was a few seconds before they inevitably reloaded.

While the three continued to run, Jun eventually got shot by a bullet on her left shoulder. She suddenly dropped down to her knees as she clutches the wound that the bullet had made.

"JUN!" Said both Mayuka and Shino, in unison.

"Arrgh... Son of a bitch. Why now of all times?" Jun thought.

Jun knew that if she stopped any longer, the three of them would be dead meat. Thus, Jun decides that they should carry on in spite of her wounds.

"I've got no time for this shit, let's continue!" Said Jun.

"But..." Shino replied.

"I'm fucking fine! No need to worry about me!" Said Jun. "Let's just treat this wound once we get backstage."

"OK..." Shino replied.

"Got it." Mayuka added.

While the three girls were making their escape, Ryuto and Fuuka were continuing with their attack. Gunning down everyone and everything they see, leaving no survivors as possible.

Eventually, the security guards arrive at the place. However, all it took were a few bullets from Ryuto and Fuuka before they, too, end up in the same fate as many others. More security guards arrived in the premises, only to wind up getting shot by the two of them as well. In the end, the entire security staff of the stadium ended up being wiped out rather effortlessly by the two.

Meanwhile, Shino, Mayuka and Jun had finally reached the lower row. They then proceeded to hop on the security barrier and ran to the side, where they saw an emergency exit.

"The exit's right over there!" Said Mayuka.

"Then what are you waiting for?" Jun replied. "Let's go!"

Shino and Mayuka nodded as they, alongside Jun ran for the exit.

But where was Yuichi throughout all of this?

As it turns out, instead of running away from the stadium, Yuichi chose to sneak around and enter the stadium, hopefully to rescue Shino and her friends from the shooters.

Yuichi did not care about his own security at this point. He just wanted to rescue Shino and her friends and be the "savior" that she longs for.

With that in mind, Yuichi ran around the stadium's hallways to find Shino and stop the perpetrators by himself. He waded through all the dead bodies and blood splatters, searching high and low to search for Shino...

... Until he heard gunshots coming out from behind him, he quickly rolled to the side in an attempt to evade the incoming bullets, but got a few grazes.

As it turns out, the one who's shooting at Yuichi was none other than Fuuka. Yuichi looks at Fuuka and saw that she also had the purple choker around her neck. Same with her boyfriend Ryuto.

"So they're participants as well..." Yuichi thought. "And from the looks of it, quite the formidable ones as well..."

Fuuka then walks closer toward Yuichi while holding him at gunpoint, drawing attention towards Yuichi's own choker.

"Fufufu! Look what I found, sweetie!" Said Fuuka. "Another target!"

Ryuto, upon hearing Fuuka's calls, glances and walks toward their direction.

"Nice catch, Fuuka." Said Ryuto, as he reloads his M-16 rifle with a brand new cartridge. "Now, stand aside. Let me handle this."

Ryuto then proceeds to point his M-16 assault rifle towards Yuichi, But before Ryuto could open fire, Yuichi grabs the gun's barrel with his left hand while he proceeds to uppercut Ryuto up the chin with his right. The uppercut managed to knock Ryuto back a few steps.

"SWEETIE!" Shouted Fuuka.

Angered after seeing her sweetheart getting hurt in front of her, Fuuka decides to shoot Yuichi with her UZIs, only for Yuichi to narrowly dodge Fuuka's bullets and countered with a shoulder ram, which sent her flying to the seats.

The impact of Yuichi's attack caused Fuuka to drop her pair of UZIs, which Yuichi then proceeds to pick up the UZIs and point them toward Fuuka.

However, before Yuichi could fire at Yuuka, Ryuto quickly runs up behind Yuichi and proceeds to smack Yuichi in the back of his neck with the butt of his rifle.

"You were one tough son of a bitch." Said Ryuto. "But now, it's time for you to die!"
