Act 27: The Guilt

Locked out from shelter, Anna continued to walk aimlessly, still shaken after Jun harshly evicted her out of Mayuka's house.

"Jun... Why...? I only wanted shelter..." Said Anna, in between sobs. "I only wanted... friends..."

-Park 2:12 PM-

After a while of walking aimlessly, Anna eventually found herself in the park, where she decided to lie down on an empty bench, place her bat beside her and stare at the stars.

"Maybe once I wake up... My day would be brighter..." Said Anna. "Don't you think...?"

After staring at the sky for a while, Anna eventually closed her eyes and went to sleep.

SATURDAY

-Park 9:08 PM-

The next day, Anna woke up feeling rather woozy, as if she was spun around multiple times while she was asleep. She sat down for a while to regain composure.

"My head..." Said Anna, clutching her head.

Anna's vertigo attack persisted for a few more minutes, until it eventually stops abruptly, as if nothing had happened.

"It's gone..." Said Anna.

As soon as the feelings subsided, Annao eventually stands up, picks up her bat and continues her walking.

Anna continued walking and walking stumbles upon a bunch of young boys playing baseball. Being the baseball enthusiast that she is, as well as someone who holds a soft spot for children, she sits behind them for a while to watch.

The game went on for a while when one of the children threw a particularly strong pitch, the ball completely missed the batter and ended up hitting Anna in the face

Two of the kids, consisting of the pitcher and the batter, worried about whether or not they seriously Anna, run toward her to aid her.

"Miss, are you okay?" Said the pitcher.

"I think you killed her!" The batter added.

"N-No... I'm fine..." Anna replied. "It's just..."

Suddenly, Anna was struck with a strong, splitting headache. She screamed in pain as her headaches continued, alarming the kids even further.

"Aaahhh... Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh!!" Shouted Anna.

The kids then began to bicker about who caused Anna's headaches, not knowing that neither of them are the cause.

"See? It's your fault! You threw that pitch way too hard!" Said the batter.

"N-No... It's just..." Anna replied." "Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

Anna's headaches just keep intensifying, with no sign or signal about when it would stop. Alarming the boys even further. Eventually, they decided to drop the arguments and help out Anna together.

"Enough arguing! Let's help the lady!" Said the pitcher.

As the two youngsters were about to help her out, Anna's headaches suddenly stopped. Anna took a short breather to regain her composure after that headache.

"Don't worry, kiddos... I'm fine now..." Said Anna.

The two young boys sighed in relief.

"Whew... that's a relief." Said the batter. "Come, let's continue our play!"

Before they were to continue their little game, Anna decided to call the boys one more time.

"Umm... Wait!" Said Anna. "Boys!"
