Act 14: The Visit

THURSDAY

For days, Mayuka, as a promise to Issei, hid her upcoming trip to Issei's house as a secret to everyone, including her family and friends. Not even Shino, her girlfriend, knows about her upcoming trip to Issei.

Inside, Mayuka is feeling nervous and fearful for what she is about to do. However, she must brave everything and face her fears if she really wants to eliminate Issei from the game.

-Outside the School 5:21 PM-

After school, Mayuka was standing outside the school, waiting for Issei to arrive and take her to his house.

Eventually, Issei arrives from his class.

"Hey, Mayuka." Said Issei.

"Oh hey, Issei." Mayuka replied.

"So, remember your promise from last Tuesday?" Said Issei.

"Yes... I wonder why you take things so quickly though." Mayuka replied. "We just met last Monday and here we are."

"Umm..." Said Issei. "Well, you see..."

"I-It's OK, Issei! You don't have to answer it if you don't want to." Mayuka replied. "So, shall we go now?"

"Sure thing." Said Issei.

-Hayami Residence 6:57 PM-

Mayuka and Issei eventually arrive at the house of Issei's maternal side uncle, where he is currently staying.

"Here we are." Said Issei. "My lovely abode... after having been kicked out from my previous apartments."

"Really? Why?" Mayuka replied.

"Let's just say some stuff happened and leave it at that." Said Issei. "Well, let's go inside."

-Hayami Doorway 6:58 PM-

Mayuka and Issei then enter Issei's house. It was a rather typical house, fit for an average family.

At the moment, there was no one else in the house, just the two of them. Which raised red flags for Mayuka.

"Uhh... Issei?" Said Mayuka.

"Yes?" Issei replied.

"Are your parents home?" Said Mayuka. "The house seems... quiet."

"Oh, Uncle Shohei is in a business trip right now." Issei replied. "He won't be back until next week or so, they said."

"Uncle Shohei? So, you don't have parents?" Said Mayuka.

"My Mom died a few years ago, and I never got to see my Dad... ever." Issei replied.

"Back when Mom was still alive, she once told me that I'm a child conceived by rape" Issei continued. "Maybe that's why she didn't want me to see my Dad."

"Ohh..." Said Mayuka. "In that case, condolences to you..."

The two then remove their footwear and enter the living room.

-Hayami Living Room 7:01 PM-

As the two of them enter their living room, Issei noticed that Mayuka was feeling rather uneasy. Something that Iseei can't help but notice.

"Is something wrong, Mayuka?" Said Issei.

"N-Nothing, Issei. It's just that... I'm... kinda nervous." Mayuka replied. "This is the first time I've ever been in your house."

"Well, if you think about it, it's not much different from your house, ain't it?" Said Issei.

"Ahaha! Yeah..." Mayuka replied.
