Act 58: The Chase

"So, tell me. How do you like my little gift, Onodera?" Said Evelyn.

Yuichi, Shino and Jun were surrounded by angry White Lion henchmen, while Mayuka was held captive. The leader, Evelyn Lau, orders her henchmen to finish them off.

"Hahaha! Enjoy it while it lasts, Onodera!" Said Evelyn. "Welp, I better get going now. Take her away, boys."

Evelyn then walks out, taking Mayuka with her. But Shino, Jun and Yuichi aren't about to go out without a fight.

Struggling to let go from the double full nelson that he was locked into, Yuichi proceeds to leap upwards and kick the groins of the two bodyguards with his legs, breaking free in the process.

Meanwhile, Shino pulls out her scissors and proceeds to charge after the bodyguards. She stabs one of the bodyguards in his right hand, before tossing him toward Jun, who finishes him off with a haymaker.

The three of them proceed to beat down the rest of Evelyn's henchmen, taking them down. Before the rest arrive, Jun picks up one of the downed henchmen's guns, a Glock 9MM pistol, and then proceed to run out of the pit and into the streets to chase after Evelyn.

-Streets 8:33 PM-

However, by the time that Yuichi and his friends had reached the exit, Evelyn had already fled on her getaway car.

"Damn her!" Said Yuichi. "Lost again..."

As Yuichi laments his loss, Jun comes up with an idea.

"Let's chase her around." Said Jun.

"How?" Yuichi replied.

"I'll go start Ashura up." Said Jun. "You guys, just stay behind me, okay?"

"Okay." Yuichi and Shino replied.

"Quick! Before she gets far away!" Said Jun.

Jun, Yuichi and Shino proceed to run to the entrance, where Ashura is left parked. Jun then proceeds to kickstart the engine as they ride on to chase after Lau's car.

-Lau's Car 8:36 PM-

Meanwhile, inside the getaway car, Evelyn was sharing her seat on the back of the car with a bound and gagged Mayuka, struggling to slip away from her cuffs while mumbling incoherent curses. Something that Evelyn eventually heard.

"Huh? What is it, sweetheart?" Said Evelyn.

Mayuka continued to mumble angrily.

"Ohh, you want some music?" Said Evelyn. "Wait here, I'll go tell our driver."

"Hey, driver. Check the stereo." Evelyn continued. "Our guest here wants some music."

The driver obliged and turned on the car stereo. The instant that the driver turned up the volume, the speakers all over the car blasted the tunes of...

"Ooh, I haven't heard this song in a while." Said Evelyn. "Turn it up a little more, driver."

The driver then turned up the volume, as requested. But as he was in the middle of turning the knob, he took a look at the side mirror and saw that someone was tailing them. Something that Evelyn saw as well.

"Ms. Lau..." Said the driver.

"I know." Evelyn replied. "Let's speed up."

"OK, got it." Said the driver.

The driver then stepped harder on the gas pedal in order to speed up, and hopefully lose the motorcycle that was tailing them.

Eventually, they come across a fork in the path. The driver asks Evelyn which way to go.
