Act 56: The Desire

A FEW DAYS LATER

-Hideout 3:10 PM-

Days have passed since the incident, but Yuichi still can't get his mind off of what had happened.

Jun was busy taking care of Yuichi's wounds, when she decides to strike a conversation with him.

"Yo, Yuichi. I noticed you've been... feeling down lately." Said Jun. "Is it the incident from days ago?"

Yuichi takes a long sigh.

"I just wish that I was able to protect someone..." Said Yuichi. "I just want to get away from my dark past."

"But... they just keep coming back to me!" Yuichi continued. "They won't let me move on!"

"And now, it turns out that the bitch is our newest target..." Yuichi continued. "What should I do...?"

As Yuichi continues to sulk in his misery, Jun glances toward the side table and started at the special passes laying above it. These were the same passes that Evelyn threw at Yuichi a few days ago. Eventually, Jun had a little idea.

"Say, Yuichi." Said Jun.

"What is it?" Yuichi replied.

"I think I have an idea..." Said Jun. "Something to help you to get your revenge..."

A WEEK LATER

-Mayuka's Bedroom 6:41 PM-

Weeks later, Yuichi and Jun decided to go to Mayuka's place and talk about their next move.

The two brought with them the special passes from Evelyn, seemingly to use it for their next plan.

"So... we going to another concert?" Said Mayuka.

"No... look closer." Yuichi replied.

Mayuka and Shino pick up the passes to read what is written on it.

"Undergound fighting...?" Said Mayuka.

"Brutal, bloody, and ruthless. A no-holds-barred fight to the death...?" Shino added.

"Yuichi, what kind of passes are these?" Mayuka continued.

"Long story short, they're special passes for an underground fighting circuit." Yuichi replied. "Run by the White Lion Triad, led by one Evelyn Lau."

"And... what does this have to do with any of us?" Said Mayuka.

"I knew you'd ask. So here, I'd like you two to take a good look at these pictures." Yuichi replied.

Yuichi pulls out his phone, and proceeds to show a bunch of recent pics of Evelyn Lau. One detail of note is the purple choker around her neck.

"Wow, this whole purple choker trend really is catching on." Said Mayuka.

"No, you dunce! That collar's the same as the ones your necks!" Yuichi replied. "She's a participant! She's our next target!"

"I know what that purple choker is, Yuichi." Said Mayuka. "Learn to take a joke sometimes."

Yuichi stares at Mayuka with an angry look on his face.

"This is a serious affair, you two!" Said Yuichi. "Don't you know who exactly this woman is?"

"Uhhh... no?" Mayuka replied.

"GAAAAAH!!!" Shouted Yuichi.

"Long story short, that woman leads the biggest crime organization, not just in Japan, but pretty much the entire fucking continent." Jun added.
