Act 18: The Price

"Price? What price...?" Said Yuichi.

"Your sister. Yukari... was it?" Evelyn replied.

"Listen, Evelyn Lau, if you DARE touch my sister while my back is turned-" Said Yuichi, seething in rage.

"Hah! You don't seem to have any idea who you're going against, Onodera." Evelyn replied. "I'll have you know that I am the head of one of the biggest crime Triads in the whole world!"

"I got Triad lackeys all over the country, Onodera. And I can order any one of them to take care of your sister." Evelyn continued. "In fact, I got one of them on the hospital right now..."

"What?!" Said Yuichi.

"Here's a clue: he's been there all along, but you're too busy to notice." Evelyn replied. "He's been watching over the two of you ever since you joined the Triad."

"And if you're not careful, he's gonna be the one to end the life of your little sister!" Evelyn continued.

Yuichi gasps.

"You better run, Onodera! Run to your dearest little sister!" Said Evelyn. "Or else the Lion lands the killing blow on its prey! Ahahahahahahahaha!"

Yuichi immediately runs to the hospital to save his sister from imminent danger.

"YUKARI!" Shouted Yuichi.

-Special Ward 10:02 PM-

In the hospital, Yukari was asleep when one of the doctors comes to her ward. However, it is actually not a doctor, but a Triad hitman in disguise, as evidenced by the White Lion tattoo on his nape.

The hitman walks toward Yukari's bed, gets closer, and without hesitation, strangles her neck.

Yukari was rudely awakened by the hitman choking her. Upon waking, the first thing she saw was the hitman's face, depicting pure sadism and ruthlessness as he tries to choke Yukari out.

-Streets 10:07 PM-

Yuichi ran and ran when suddenly, it began to rain. Yuichi didn't mind this. The only thing going on in his mind right now is to save Yukari at all costs.

Yuichi tried to call Yukari on her phone as he ran. However, nobody answered. He tried to call again, but still, nobody answered the phone. What could be going on inside her ward?

Eventually, Yuichi reaches the hospital. He wasted no time, as he immediately ran to the entrance.

"YUKARI!" Shouted Yuichi.

-Special Ward 10:08 PM-

At the hospital, Yukari did her best to fend off the hitman. She tried taking his hands off her, but his grip was too tight. She tried to kick, but the hitman suddenly climbed up on her bed, constricting her legs using his knees.

Finally, she tried to scream, but her vocal cords were blocked by the hitman's hands throttling her neck. Thus, she can only sputter.

"Ahh...! Wh-What are you... doing?" Said Yukari.

However, her please proved fruitless, as the hitman did not stop, and continued to choke Yukari out.

Suddenly, Yukari's cellphone began to ring. At first, the hitman simply ignored the ringing the first time. When the phone rang for the second time, he immediately swats the phone out of the desk it was on, destroying the phone as it fell to the ground.

-Hospital Reception 10:13 PM-

After a while of running, Yuichi eventually reaches the inside of the hospital. He looks for the elevator, only to realize that it was being used. Thus, he had no choice to climb the stairs.
