Act 37: The Interrogation

THE NEXT DAY

-Police Station 11:53 PM-

A day after the shooting at the stadium, Ryuto and Fuuka were scheduled to be interrogated by the police in order for them to know what were the two mass murderers' true intentions.

Ryuto and Fuuka are to be interrogated in two separate rooms. They are also going to be interrogated by Makoto and Kyukichi, respectively.

Before the interrogation was to take place, Makoto was talking to her superior Kyukichi about how the interrogation must play out.

"So I have to squeeze out as much information from them as I could..." Said Makoto. "Is that what you want, Sir?"

"Precisely. Don't be afraid to use extreme measures when necessary." Kyukichi replied.

"Got it..." Said Makoto.

"Hey, now. What's with that somber tone in your voice, Kazama?" Kyukichi replied.

"N-Nothing, sir..." Said Makoto. "I'm fine, thank you."

"Whatever. Just don't mess this up." Kyukichi replied. "These are high value criminals we have in our hands."

"Understood..." Said Makoto.

Makoto them walks down the hallway and onto the door to Interrogation Room A, where Ryuto is being held at. Kyukichi, meanwhile, goes to Interrogation Room B, located on the other side of the police station, to begin the interrogation on Fuuka.

-Interrogation Room A 12:00 PM-

As Makoto entered the Interrogation Room A, a rather empty room with only a table, two chairs and a single fluorescent light inside, was Ryuto. His hands were cuffed and tied to his chair, and was accompanied by a pair of officers, thus making sure that he won't be able to do anything shady.

"About time you showed up." Said Ryuto.

Makoto did not reply, she simply signalled for the officers to leave, took her seat on the other side of the table and stared at Ryuto.

"Hey, are you just gonna stand there and do nothing?" Said Ryuto. "Is that how interrogations are laid out these days?!"

While Ryuto continued to taunt Makoto around, she suddenly grabs Ryuto by the collar with her right hand, as she proceeds to punch Ryuto with her left, sending him face down to the table.

"Speak one more word and you won't come out of here alive." Said Makoto.

Ryuto sneered angrily as he raises his head up after Makoto's sudden attack on him.

"There we go." Said Makoto.

"Oh, by the way, your girlfriend's in the other interrogation room a few walks from here, in case you'd ask." Makoto continued. "The Superintendent should be taking care of her by now..."

-Interrogation Room B 12:02 PM-

Meanwhile, on the other interrogation room, was Kyukichi, who was in the middle of interrogating Fuuka at the time.

"So, as I was saying, Miss Tomiyama." Said Kyukichi. "When did you and your boyfriend meet each other?"

"I'm not answering anything that you say until you show where he is, right here, this instant." Fuuka replied.

"Is that so? Unfortunately for you, I rule this place." Said Kyukichi. "So you have to abide to MY rules, while you are here in MY garden, you understand that?"

Fuuka spits at Kyukichi's face. However, Kyukichi simply wipes the saliva off.

"So you're really testing how far my patience goes, eh, Miss Tomiyama?" Said Kyukichi.
