Act 59: The Hostage

After the intense chase between car and motorcycle just a few minutes ago, Evelyn Lau's car eventually reached its destination: an abandoned warehouse located somewhere near the outskirts of town.

At least, that's what it seems like from the outside.

This so-called "abandoned warehouse" is actually where the White Lion triad interrogates and tortures most of its hostages, whether for ransom or to gather valuable information.

-Abandoned Warehouse 9:01 PM-

The driver of the getaway car proceeds to park the getaway car onto the parking garage located near the side of the building.

He then opens the door and gets out of the vehicle, before escorting his other passengers: Triad leader Evelyn Lau and her current hostage Mayuka Goto.

Evelyn steps out of her seat, bringing along Mayuka with her.

"We're finally here, my darling." Said Evelyn. "Your new home."

Evelyn then takes Mayuka inside the warehouse, where the interrogations begin.

-Inside the Warehouse 9:02 PM-

Inside, Evelyn proceeds to remove Mayuka's cuffs, only to tie her onto a chair that's cemented on a certain spot. She struggle to break free, but then the driver from the car earlier comes out and grabs her arms, and ties them behind her back, restraining her movement.

"So, how do you like your new home?" Said Evelyn.

Mayuka continued to mumble, before Evelyn finally removes the tape on her mouth, allowing her to speak.

"You bitch..." Said Mayuka. "When I get out of here, I'l make sure you'll-"

"Oh, pipe down, you." Evelyn replied. "It's not like you're gonna get out of this place by yourself."

"Besides, I already called for some backup in the form of my lackeys." Evelyn continued. "They'll be arriving here every minute now, so it's best you behave, got it?"

"My friends will come for me sooner or later..." Said Mayuka. "They will rescue me from this hellhole, and they will kill you!"

"Kill me? Ahahahaha!" Evelyn replied. "Looks like you're still unaware of what happened just a few minutes ago, my dear."

"Your so-called 'saviors' got themselves arrested for going over the speed limit while chasing after us!" Evelyn replied. "Hah! What fools they are."

"Oh yeah? And what if they get out?" Said Mayuka.

"I'm pretty sure they won't be able to." Evelyn replied.

"How can you be so sure...?" Said Mayuka.

At that point, Evelyn pulls out her phone, scrolls through her contacts list, and shows Mayuka one of those contacts: that of the Police Superintendent of the TMPD, Kyukichi Katsuragi.

"No fucking way..." Said Mayuka.

"That's right. I'm in cahoots with the Police around here!" Evelyn replied. "And as long as I give them orders, I can command them to do anything as I please!"

"You see now, huh? You see now how powerful I am?!" Evelyn continued. "I am the most powrful criminal mastermind that has ever set foot in this country, and there ain't any force that can stop me from doing what I want!"

"And what I want right now... is to have my way with you..." Evelyn continued. "... My little cream puff..."

"What...?" Said Mayuka.

"I just want to... enjoy you." Evelyn continued. "I want to... savor my time with you thoroughly..."

"Yuck, no! My body belongs to one girl only, and it sure as hell isn't you!" Said Mayuka.

"Ohohohoho! Didn't you know?" Evelyn continued. "I'm the type of woman who won't be satisfied until I get what I want."

"Then what do you wa-" Said Mayuka.

Much to Mayuka's surprise, Evelyn suddenly kisses her in the lips. Evelyn then lances out her tongue inside Mayuka's mouth and licks all over, savoring the taste of it, while a disgusted Mayuka struggles to let go.

Eventually, Evelyn lets go of the kiss and stares at Mayuka with a sly smile on her face.

"The fuck was that for?!" Said Mayuka.

"Just testing the waters." Evelyn replied. "It's been a while since I kissed another girl like that."

"Augh, get off me, you creep!" Said Mayuka.

Mayuka shook her body all over, struggling to let go of the ropes binding her. If only her hands and feet were free, she would've kicked the everlasting shit out of Evelyn.

"Wanna know something, my darling?" Said Evelyn. "Here's a secret between you and me: I-"

Suddenly, Evelyn's monologue was interrupted by her driver, who then whispers something to her ear.

"Miss Lau, the henchmen have arrived." Whispered the driver.

"Fine. Let them in." Evelyn replied.

"OK, got it." Whispered the driver.

The driver then walks away to welcome Evelyn's henchmen. Meanwhile, Evelyn shifts back her attention to Mayuka.

"As I was saying..." Said Evelyn. "The one thing I like more than ecstacy and my father... is torture."

"It all started when I was a young girl." Evelyn continued. "My dad, the former boss, let me watch as they torture some poor sod to death."

"Since then, I've been attracted... no... addicted to torture." Evelyn continued.

"The pleasure of watching someone get tortured, the feeling of inflicting torture, the helplesness of the one that's being tortured..." Evelyn continued. "The pain that I give... turns me on...!"

"... You're sick..." Mayuka replied.

A brief silence filled the warehouse, before eventually, Evelyn began to chuckle in amusement.

"Hehehehee... Hahahahahahahahaha... AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Said Evelyn.

"Yes... I am sick, alright..." Evelyn continued.

Evelyn then raises her hand to signal her lackeys to do something. Whatever it is, it's not looking good for Mayuka.

"Take her to the metal table, boys." Said Mayuka.

At that moment, Evelyn's lackeys proceeded to untie Mayuka's hands and feet from the chair. This was her chance.

Mayuka proceeded to grab ahold of one of the Triad henchmen by grabbing him by the collar, after which she then finished him off by hitting him onto the groin with her knee.

However, by the time she gets to knock down the Triad goon, many more of them arrived at the scene. As Mayuka was about to run for the exit, a bunch of Triad goons blocked her way, while the ones behind her proceeded to grab Mayuka by the arms, restraining her movement.

"Argh! Let me go!" Said Mayuka, as she struggles to let go from the goons' grasp.

The Triad henchmen did not listen to anything that Mayuka said, and instead followed Evelyn's orders, as they dragged her to a metal table. They then proceed to forcefully lay her down and then strap her onto the table.

Meanwhile, Evelyn's driver arrives at the scene, carrying with him a car battery and a pair of jumper cables.

"What...? What is....?" Said Mayuka. "What are you gonna do to me?!"

Evelyn then picks up the jumper cables and waves them on Mayuka's face.

"Oh, nothing. Just a little experiment, that's all." Said Evelyn.
