Act 38: The Bullet

"Since when did you two have this... strange interest?" Kyukichi replied.

"It was... a long time ago..." Said Fuuka. "Back when we were children..."

21 Years Ago

It was the year 1999, one year before the new millennium. Back then, Ryuto and Fuuka were still a pair of young, naive kindergarteners, without much of a care in the world.

But little do they know was that everything in their life would soon change after one fateful day.

-Kodomo Kindergarten School 10:11 AM-

One day, Ryuto and Fuuka, alongside the rest of the kids in the classroom, were having their usual class at Kodomo Kindergarten School, headed by one of the teachers, Mr. Ryotaro Urahara.

Mr. Urahara might seem like a normal teacher at first glance, but deep inside, he was going through some hard times in his life at the time.

In a span of just a few years, Mr. Urahara lost his wife and unborn child, became an alcoholic, and fell into a downward spiral of depression, with the only thing keeping him from losing it all being his job as a kindergarten teacher.

However, his mental condition continued to grow worse each and every day. Until one day, Mr. Urahara had finally reached his breaking point.

A few hours ago, as he entered the school, Mr. Urahara had snuck in a 9MM pistol and some bullets on an envelope. He had been contemplating suicide with this gun, but today, he was thinking about using the gun for another purpose entirely.

While nobody in the class was looking at Mr. Urahara pulled out the gun from his envelope and fired it upwards, toward the ceiling.

The sudden firing of the gun caused a massive panic, not just within the room, but throughout the entire school. Children began to cry and run away.

It was then that Mr. Urahara stated his intentions.

"This is a goddamned hostage situation!" Said Mr. Urahara. "Do what I say or I will shoot you dead!"

The class, which consisted primarily of children aged 4-5 years old, did not know what to do.

"Here are my demands. Bring me the principal, I want to talk with him for something important!" Said Mr. Urahara. "Bring me the principal, NOW! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!?"

One of the students began to cry, as he was too scared and wanted his parents to look after him.

"Mommy...! Mommy...!" Said the young student, as he continued to cry.

Seething in anger, and visibly pissed off and annoyed at the crying kid, Mr. Urahara picks up his gun and proceeds to point it toward the young child.

"STOP THAT CRYING OR I'LL BLOW YOUR FUCKING HEAD OFF!!!" Shouted Mr. Urahara.

When the kid did not stop crying, instead beginning to cry even louder, Mr. Urahara pulled the trigger and mercilessly shot the poor crying child.

"WHAT DID I TOLD YOU?!? I TOLD YOU TO STOP CRYING!!!" Shouted Mr. Urahara. "STOP IT!!! STOP IT NOW!!!"

Unsatisfied with just shooting the toddler on his forehead, Mr. Urahara proceeded to shoot him five more times until blood cane out pouring from the youngster's mouth as he proceeds to lose all consciousness and fall down to the ground.

Ryuto and Fuuka, who were both sitting near the crying child witnessed as Mr. Urahara ruthlessly shot down their classmate. Instead of being scared, they seemed more... fascinated by the sight.
