Act 43: The Threat

"The collar... in my neck...?" Said Shino.

"But... the collar is only supposed to be seen by participants." Mayuka replied. "How did she..."

"What do you mean?" Said Shino.

"A while ago, I asked my daddies if they can see what's on my neck." Mayuka replied. "They said they don't see anything on it..."

"So how does Nana know about my collar?" Said Shino. "Could it be...?"

"Yeah... Nana may be a participant." Mayuka replied.

"I knew it. We just tread into dangerous waters." Said Shino. "We have to be careful with our next reply."

"Yeah..." Mayuka replied. "Let me handle it."

Mayuka proceeded to type out her next reply:

"It's none of your business, stupid~"

Shino was clearly not amused.

"HOW IS THAT CAREFUL?!" Shouted Shino.

"Hehe.... Sorry, I just wanted to try out some tsundere tactics." Mayuka replied, with a big goofy smile on her face.

Shino sighs.

"Gimme that." Said Shino.

Shino erased Mayuka's reply and replaced it with her own reply.

"Fuck off"

"AS IF YOURS ISN'T ANY LESS RUDE!!" Said Mayuka.

"But... Th-that's the first thing that popped up in my mind!" Shino replied. "Who cares if I have the collar or not. That's none of their business..."

Mayuka lets out a sigh of disappointment.

"Looks like both of us aren't in the right mind for rational thinking today." Said Mayuka. "Well, tomorrow's a weekday after all. Let's just continue this after a good night's sleep, so we can, y'know... refresh our minds."

"OK..." Shino replied.

And so Shino and Mayuka decided that they should get some rest. They proceeded to turn off the computer and go to sleep.

THE NEXT DAY

-Mayuka's Bedroom 7:13 AM-

Saturday morning. Shino wakes up from her sleep only to find out that Mayuka had already woken up ahead of her.

Mayuka notices and proceeds to greet Shino with a warm smile and a short but sweet greeting of:

"Good morning, Shino!" Said Mayuka.

"Oh, good morning Mayu." Shino replied, as she rubs her eyes. "Why're you up so early in the morning!"

"Oh, uhh. Just checking up on some stuff." Said Mayuka.

"I see." Shino replied. "Have you checked up on Nana yet?"

"Oh... now that I think about it..." Said Mayuka. "I... sorta forgot."

"Mayu..." Shino replied.

"OK, OK... I'll get to it as soon as possible." Said Mayuka.

"Do it right now!" Shino replied, clearly annoyed, a rather rare sight for her.

"Kyaaah! Sorry..." Said Mayuka. "So cruel..."

Mayuka logs in to Facebook, using Shino's account, like yesterday. The first thing she did was to look at Shino's Messenger to check on what Nana has been doing.

What she saw was... peculiar to say the least.

Since the two never got to reply yesterday, Nana ended up littering Shino Messenger with spam.
