The White Lion triad. One of the most powerful crime organizations, not just in its native country, but in the whole world.

Primarily based on Hong Kong, the White Lion's influence in the world of organized crime eventually spread through other countries, not just in Asian countries like, China, Japan, and the Philippines, but in other far continents as well.

The White Lion triad had existed for a long time, since the 1950s, and has been going from strength to strength since their inception. The triad is notorious for its leaders: the Lau clan, who excel not just in charisma and negotiation skills, but in fighting skill as well.

The most recent triad leader is the 23-year old prodigy Evelyn Lau, who, at a young age, has proven to be a worthy successor to her late father Richard Lau.

Today, after two years of separation Evelyn decides to get out of her comfort zone over at Hong Kong, and fly to one of her favorite countries to visit: the land of the rising sun, Japan.

SUNDAY

-Airport 4:10 PM-

Sunday afternoon. Cathay Pacific Flight 347 has successfully arrived from Hong Kong to its destination, Japan. There were 11,000 passengers in total.

Among them was an woman in her early twenties. She had long blond hair and wore a pair of sunglasses. Her outfit consisted of a long white and red winter fur coat, black stockings, and red high-heel shoes.

The woman in question is in fact Evelyn Lau, who disguised herself as a mere tourist in order to conceal her identity from the authorities.

"Hmm... this place hasn't changed much from when I last came here." Evelyn thought.

After a few more minutes, Evelyn took her bags and went outside, onto a largely empty spot near the airport, to call for her assistants to give her a ride.

"Hello? It's me. Evelyn Lau." Said Evelyn, almost whispering. "I just arrived here in the airport."

"Can you hand me over a ride?" Evelyn continued.

"Sure thing, madam. We shall arrive at the airport in a jiffy" A male voice replied, speaking through the other line.

"Mm-hmm. Okay, catch ya later." Said Evelyn.

Evelyn then ends the call, and waits for her henchmen to take her to her place.

THIRTY MINUTES LATER

Over 30 minutes have passed before Evelyn's henchmen arrives at the airport, bringing with them a black Mitsubishi Lancer EX.

The window slowly goes down to reveal the face of one of her assistants, a rather handsome-looking man in his 30s who wore a sleek black suit, and sunglasses, and had long brown hair, tied into a ponytail.

The man lowers his sunglasses to take a good look at his boss.

"Long time no see, Madam." Said the man. "Darrius Kang, at your service!"

"Leave the honorifics later. Let's go." Evelyn replied.

"Dear me, Madam. You're quite impatient today..." Said Kang. "You in a rush or something?"

"Just get right to it." Evelyn replied, furious.

"As you wish, Madam." Said Kang.

Evelyn then takes her seat as they ride through the city and into their destination: Kai-En-Tai.

-Kang's Car 4:42 PM-

Upon entering Kang's car, Evelyn removes her blonde wig and sunglasses, revealing her natural black hair, tied in a traditional Chinese bun. Soon, the car eventually started, and they start off with their little journey.

As their ride traverses through the city, Evelyn and Kang decide to start a little conversation.

"So, any changes here since I left?" Said Evelyn.

"Not much, Madam. In fact, business is looking good." Kang replied.

"Ohho~. Is that so?" Said Evelyn.

"That said, there's still the dangers of the Red Lions." Kang replied. "Worse still, they seem to be going from strength to strength."

"Really?" Said Evelyn.

"I heard many rumors that they have huge plans to take down the White Lion triad." Kang replied. "I deployed a double agent for the sake of investigating them, and this is what he gathered so far."

"The Reds seem to have become rather vindictive in recent years, and have recently resorted to force." Kang continued. "In fact, they appear to be hiring assassins to take our triad down, if the double agent is to be believed."

"Mm-hmm..." Said Evelyn.

Kang lights up a cigarette using the car's lighter.

"Over the span of two years, we lost quite a few of our men at the hands of those assassins." Said Kang. "But trust me, that's not even the worst thing."

"I've heard some of their plans that they're gonna be taking YOU down as well." Kang continued. "They know of your arrival, Madam. But don't worry, I'll stay by your side to protect you."

Evelyn nods her head.

"I see..." Said Evelyn. "That's... pretty interesting news, coming from a Red Lion like you."

"Wha... What are you talking about, Madam?" Kang replied, confused.

"What do you say your name was again? Darrius Kang, was it?" Said Evelyn. "I bet you haven't heard Darrius Kang had already passed away last year."

"In January 11, 2019, to be exact. By way of cardiac arrest." Evelyn continued.

"Uhh, I can..." Kang replied.

"And also, that cigarette you're smoking." Evelyn continued. "That's a Marlboro. The brownish orange butt pretty much gives it away."

"If you've been with me for so long, then you'll know that I dislike Marlboro." Evelyn continued. "Personally, whenever I smoke, I prefer Mild Seven."

"Uhh..." Kang replied, speechless.

"Here's proof" Said Evelyn, pulling out a half-full pack of Mild Seven from her bag, which she then throws over the dashboard.

"Hehehe... So, my cover is blown, huh?" Kang replied. "Yeah, that's right. I am Red Lion, and I admit that."

"I have been deceiving you for as long as you took the ride." Kang continued. "Under the guise of one of your underlings. You're smarter than I thought."

"Well, looks like the time for playing games is over..." Kang continued. "Time for you to die, Evelyn Lau."

Kang then pulls out a gun that he hid under the rug of the driver's seat. However, before he could pull the trigger, Evelyn pulls out a thin needle from her bag and pokes it onto the back of Kang's neck, numbing his senses.

"What... are you..." Said Kang.

"Lau family tradition. Needles coated with twilight anaesthesia." Evelyn replied. "Perfect for neutralizing foes when guns aren't around."

"Well, I must go now. Nice knowing you, 'Darrius Kang'." Evelyn continued, before kicking the door near her seat.

-Streets 5:13 PM-

Evelyn proceeds to jump from the car, which proceeded to crash onto a post, killing the impostor Kang by way of blunt force trauma sustained by the accident.

Evelyn then walks toward the car, pulls out, the key and get her bags from the back compartment and proceeded to walk away, but not before throwing the key onto the drainage..

Evelyn then looks up at the street that she was in, and saw that Kai-En-Tai was only within a short walking distance.

"Just as planned..." Said Evelyn.

Evelyn walks out of the scene, as if nothing had happened, and onto her destination: Kai-En-Tai.
