Act 29: The Rage

"Anna...?" Said Jun.

Jun heard a bunch of screams coming from somewhere nearby. She can sense that something was wrong with, so she rushes to where the screams are coming from.

-Alleyway 11:19 AM-

Music: "Straight Hate" by Bloodsimple (A Cruel World; 2005)

Jun walked toward the source of the screams: the alleyway, where she saw that it was indeed Anna, crouching, hunched back and clutching her head in pain. Jun decided to ask Anna what was wrong.

"Anna...?" Said Jun. "Are you..."

"N-No... don't come clo-" Anna replied. "Ahhhh! Ahhhhhhhh!"

"Anna? Wh-What the fuck's going on?!" Said Jun.

"This is... what I..." Anna replied. "Was talking... about... Ahhhhhhhhhhh!"

"An-" Said Jun.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Shouted Anna.

Anna let out a loud, bloodcurdling scream of pain, before eventually stopping, catching her breath after the violent headache.

Eventually, Anna stood up, but Jun felt that something about her didn't seem right. Her posture was off, and she began to snarl like a rabid dog. However, nothing could prepare her for what Anna would do next.

Much to Jun's surprise, Anna proceeded to grab a hold of Jun by the neck and choke her. Jun grabbed a hold of both of Anna's arms struggled to pull Anna's hands off of her neck. Eventually, she was able to release Anna's grip from her neck, but it was far from the end of it.

Jun stared at Anna for a while, and saw no semblance of the cheerful and bubbly Anna that she knew last night. In its place was a mind full of nothing but aggression. It was like she was looking at a completely different person.

As she was stepping back, Jun found an empty beer bottle. She then proceeded to take the bottle, smash the bottom part, and point it toward Anna.

"Anna, don't fucking move. See this here? This is a bottle." Said Jun. "I don't want to hurt you, but you're forcing me."

Anna simply swatted the bottle away and proceed to quickly tackle Jun. While the two were down, Anna then chokes Jun once again, only for Jun to kick her away and stand up.

Anna quickly get up as well, and proceeds to pick up her baseball bat, which was lying around at the floor at the time, and proceed to smash at Jun relentlessly with the bat. Jun defended Anna's smashes with her arms, but her bones can only withstand for so long.

Anna suddenly stops her attack, and lets out a loud scream. After which she remains standing, hunched back and out of breath. It seemed as if she was trying to regain her sanity, but is constantly being overpowered.

As she struggles to fight for her sanity, Anna pleads for Jun to stay away.

"Run... Run...!" Said Anna, in between her struggle.

"Anna...?" Jun replied.

"I don't want... to kill you..." Said Anna. "RUN!!!"

"Anna... no... please sto-" Jun replied.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!" Shouted Anna.

Anna lets out a loud, piercing scream before reverting to her ravaging state. Jun knew that there was no calming her down, so she prepares to use force.

"Fuck. Looks like I have no other choice." Jun thought. "I'm sorry for this, Anna... but this is gonna hurt me more than it hurts you!"

Jun curls up her right fist and punches Anna, but Anna simply catches her fist. However, Anna simply catches Jun's fist with her right hand and quickly retaliates with her own, which Jun dodges by ducking low.
